I think this could be applied for those of us who already got their ex back. For myself, I realized my ex always seems to come back. Partially because I’ve followed a lot of the good advice from this channel and I get my act together quickly following any breakups or serious fights. Some time passes and we have reconnected every single time. That said, the problems always come back up and I feel stuck trying to resolve them. It’s always so relieving when we make up but “Ross and Rachel syndrome”, as I like to call it, always resurfaces. If you ever feel like speaking to this in a future video, I’m sure I can’t be the only one dealing with this.

Mine never came back, no matter what I tried. :( And the reason for the breakup was… it’s not very clear because we had an overall great relationship and made it through so much together, we were just having a bit of a dull summer and a lot of it was my fault, but it was very easily fixable but she just “couldn’t”. That was the reason, even tho her last words to me were “I love you”. Her actions didn’t support those words though. maybe there’s still hope out there, but It’s probably over now

@@breadguy7962 Sorry to hear it BreadGuy. I try to think about it this way. In the past I have Ex’s who I may have given another chance if they did something differently, and some who I’d never have given another chance no matter what they did because I made up my mind. There’s only a chance to fix things if the other person is still unsure about their decision. So as long as you gave it your best shot (Clays advice is absolutely the best) then there’s nothing more you could have done.

My ex was ‘riding the dragon’ but I couldn’t wait for her to reach the ‘crisis point’ . I felt stuck in limbo and she said she saw me as her best friend . I told her nobody could go from making $35/hourly to $25/hourly. Pretty much told her I can’t be friends I still had feelings . She always breaks no contact this is like the 3rd time she breaks it after a month of me initiating it . Says she misses me . Nobody gets her like I do , what we have is special yet she won’t commit . FYI I took her for granted for almost 2 years where the ball was in my court up until she broke it off .

Clay we I got stuck in a holding pattern where we would nap together in same bed, backrubs but not further. This went on for much longer than 5 months. I got frustrated, called out the dynamic and made negative comments about the affair partner/rebound. Still married but she moved out and verbalizes she doesn't want to be with me. It hurts a lot as she went from indifferent to very angry. You have helped me so much in the beginning and as of late now you're making me think deeply about myself and less about her. I worked on my life during this time.

That’s the way I feel everyone thinks I’m mad for fighting but then I think if I don’t I’ll regret it for the rest of my life, fighting for family I can’t imagine a better fight no matter how much I get beat up by it ( been 5 months } I haven’t begged or pleaded but I have spoke all my feelings , sure it hasn’t worked but it’s in me to say it I have no filter 😂 has it annoyed her does she feel drained sometimes yea but that’s my personality she knows iv never lied to her and I say what’s on my mind it’s just that it’s strong on my mind but now it’s subsided so I hope now I can just have fun with her without talking about feelings 😂 I know I’ll always love her we was together 12 years but neither of us talked about feelings she was an avoidant and I just thought we was happy if I think everything’s ok why would I need to speak about how I feel she knows at least that’s what I thought, she says she working on it must be with her new fella because it ain’t me 😂 but it is what it is I have a child with her I still don’t think I chose the wrong woman iv changed everything that needs changing I just got to be my fun happy self when I see her iv never been nasty towards her well yesterday I told some home truths that upset her but I was sick of her saying theirs nothing wrong with broken family’s she turned out ok … that hit me to my core because I know broken family’s are shit and it does affect kids and since she came from one she said she turned out ok … 3 dads to 3 different kids but she got a good job a man fighting for her and left without talking to me, but she turned out ok being from a broken home … really 🤷🏼‍♂️ first thing she said when she left is my mum left my dad when I was 4 I turned out ok, I agreed but last night was the first time I told her some home truths and I feel like I have everything off my chest now 😂

Clay, what are some resources to improve yourself? I’ve read “Attached”, “Getting the love you want” and “non violent communication” They’ve been invaluable resources along with online coaches like yourself. My challenge in my relationship was communicating. We had shared values, goal and an amazing connection. But without communicating needs, it doesn’t matter how good everything else is. And I want to keep improving in this regards. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
