Yes the self tapers were a poor choice. I assembled this inside the drawer to minimize scratches. Still somehow got a scratch but not losing sleep. This thing feels kinda cheap. After i got installed no regrets on the purchase. These are starting to come back in stock in my area.. just a heads up to those waiting

Didn’t think I’d need a tutorial on how to install this. But after scratching up the front and back of the drawer due to the 2 screw at the top, I finally got it in thanks to you.

Now I only wish I could find one. I've been waiting since the first of the year for it to come back in stock. The ship from China must have broke down. Can I get a volunteer to go look for it 😡

I drive 45 min away to get mine. I kinda combined the trip with something else I'd been meaning to do, but now I'm really glad I did. Odd thing to run short of, but guessing most folks who get one of the bigger USG carts gets one.

Seems like a great idea. But a ton of wasted space in that drawer now.

I've been using the space under for batteries, the discs for the die grinder, etc. The fact that it gets the impacts out of my drawer is a big space benefit, and I now have all of my "car" power tools in one place. The reality of the power drawer is less than expected though - it's too short to have a battery on the charger, and I'd never leave the drawer open while charging. I'm sure I'll figure something useful eventually... ;) Thanks for watching and the comment!

The simple answer is I'm not that smart 🤣. The longer answer is I didn't think about it and the instructions don't recommend it (and that should probably be Step #1).
