I was born in '52. That picture you put up of life in the 50's was accurate. We still had plenty of problems, but the family unit was intact. Men are finally exercising the only real power anybody has - the power to say no. It's been a very long time in coming. The dam is breaking. Unfortunately, the longer it takes for the dam to break, the more water that is stored up behind the dam (more damage done when the dam breaks). In a true fault-based system, false allegations would have to be proved. What caused California to go no-fault was the numerous cases where both sides were lying to the Court to get freed from their marriage. Also, there are plenty of false allegations in no-fault cases, so false allegations are a given either way. A return to a fault-based system will never happen, of course. The genie is out of the bottle and ain't goin' back in.
