They are still entitled to apply for asylum ANYWHERE they want but to do that have to be standing on the soil of the country they wish to apply for asylum. The only reason any asylum seekers need to stay in a particular safe country is if they have family members already in that country or you didn’t pass thru a safe third country. As the UK is a safe third country now we’ve left the EU that’s one of the main reasons we cannot send them back to anywhere as we would be breaking international law by doing so. Instead of listening to shite like these channels have a read of the refugee act or how to apply for asylum on the UNhcr website. Everything is there in black & white. This will stop you regurgitating the same old nonsense. And YOU could do exactly what they are doing ( applying for asylum ) if you wanted to, that’s the difference between travelling with a passport/documents as you would more than likely be going on holiday.
