Some INFJ already have a strong mental guard against these type of people and learn how to cope with them as they grow, including myself. Instead of being manipulated and taken advantage off, I try to avoid them or maybe if they are too pushy, i would strike them back mentally. Most INFJ have a strong sense of dangers coming to them just by looking at their enemies, so they either retreat peacefully or if not, participate in a mental game against them.

As with other INFJs, I LOVE nature! I have always been most comfortable and relaxed in nature, ever since I was a wee one! I didn’t have, or need, many friends & instead I would hunt for gems and minerals and engage in very involved imaginary play. I was very much into animals and also, the spirits that I was able to intuitively connect with. I’m not sure if this is common for other INFJ’s but I’ve sensed and interpreted messages from spirit for as long as I can remember. Can you imagine if being an INFJ wasn’t so rare? My sister resonates with her zodiac so well (she's a textbook ISTJ) but growing up she knew I never resonated with mine (libra). But when I discovered mbti and we checked back on our test results in college, she tried to understand me better. She made efforts to watch some infj videos. She somehow know now why I am different and always contradictory. Our not so close friends and relatives see me as an extrovert. But if you ask my sister if she believes I'm an extrovert she'll say " You are extroverted with close families and friends. But you are very aloof and almost reclusive when around people you're not really close with". INFJ is really complex that it's even hard to explain being one. Even if you do tell people, they won't fully grasp it. Even those people who loves you as you are, they already know the complexity and uniqueness of your personality but still can't pinpoint what it is. 😂🤣

I don't think that I have met anyone who discussed mbti or typology. I have seldom said anything about being INFJ unless I knew them well, and then only briefly, usually in answer to question about how I am so different from most people. Only when they seem honestly curious about the subject will I discuss it. I don't need to impress people or win arguments or be competitive in any way. I prefer to back away and leave them to their little dramas. Why would I reason with someone who doesn't know what reason is? There is nothing to win. I don't spend time with anyone who doesn't respect me. This may seem too simple, but I don't need to "get" something that others don't want to give. On Track is correct. Trying too hard isn't productive or useful in any way.

I recently found out that I am an infj but I am very close to being an ENFP because I have worked hard to improve where I am week ... and I have noticed that, since learning about mbti and asking other people about their types, a LOT of people say they are INFJ. It's pretty easy to spot who is saying it because it's the only type they remember and who is saying it because of narcissistic tendencies. I have only met 2 other people who were obviously INFJ's and they both were very wishy washy about their type. I usually just say that I'm "basically an ENFP light" because no body really cares anyway, but they do expect an answer and I can't lie and say I don't know 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I'm at the point in self awareness where these things no longer fly. Nobody draining me is being spared from the brutal truth I observe everyday any more. This videos are making me whole and giving me all I needed to reaffirm what I already think and know. As a male INFJ, I have never really hit on anyone and have only reacted to people who have first shown interest in me. This is a mistake cause the Narcs will always pursue most aggressively but they do it in a mirroring fashion

Seems to me that the role paradox plays with this subject is relevant, if not critical. Telling others my type has only happened once. It was my younger brother who had mentioned that he'd been tested for MBTI. Telling him I'm INFJ type was not comfortable. It felt like I'd given him an advantage over me that could be used to manipulate...or even inflict harm. Don't think he'd ever do this, but I did have concerns. The paradox is that not revealing type to others generally lets you use it and apply it's aspects more openly. Were as, if others know and bother to research the aspects of type, it could be..."dangerous". People generally appear to struggle with my "misfit" demeanor. And those struggles can manifest in a wide range of reaction or response. From intrigue, curiosity and attraction... to distrust, rejection or marginalization. Knowing my type has been more than helpful in my own understanding of how I present to the world. I'm sure I'll take more interest in the other types as I get a handle on my stuff. But I'll usually only talk about introversion, intuition, and the regular need for recharging the batteries. There doesn't seem to be much awareness of MBTI in my admittedly small circles. (68 yrs. old)

When an INFJ and another INFJ meet they can talk anything the whole day- literally 😊 because I have a cousin who's also an INFJ, I'm the A type and she's the T type and we can talk about anything anytime and all through out the day and we never get bored. Hahaha And Ps: what the narrator tells in this vid is literally true as an INFJ. As in to be blunt, people who're not genuine to us we can feel and we know they only want to benefit from us.

Yeah okay, our purpose is about our pain, this one too might help to relieve us of the petty, but I will say this: Uncertainty can sometimes stimulate growth and then we just flow in the wake of that pain we feel (still supporting you more than me, right, but ->). Especially when we just get to the edge of things to see that uncertainty and thereafter the chaos of which we are just supposed to be a conduit (sin or sinner), so that we may make the rest of the road as beautiful as it with its newfound momentum. (Prepared with the respite found at the edge to fill that hunger, there is more than what we should be, we can't save everyone) Sometimes we have to make the dumb mistakes we make, because you'll know it more accurately when you've lived it, but then growing up may well be a thing for all of us all the time. Just be present of all of it all the time. The presence is part of you as you'll suddenly see that is the dominant Ni for us that just automatically works. This is also the INFJ-gate and through that gateway, we become ourselves through the barrier. A place where INTJ's stand a little more casually than we do in their ways. Because we can't use the energy or the place to be the fabric of life altogether. Everythingness is somewhat terrifyingly chaotic. Point is, all in due time... we are where we are and we should embrace that, but you give good next chapters... I see it as just a should sometimes, though (speaking of the current where).
