It's the same two tier policing with travellers. They come and break into our village green, have bonfires, ride motorbikes across it and fly tip. Last time they stole lots from the shop. The girl called the police but the traveller father of the thieves came to the shop to threaten the girl who called the police. The police did nothing, the council did nothing. I am nearly 80yrs and was born and raised in harehills .and was connected with it until my parents deaths around 2000 a.d. it was a place which well into the 1980s was good, orderly friendly trouble free with an abundance of retail outlets .the housing stock was diverse and sound ,the streets well maintained and families mostly intact ..then a noticeable non organic change began to occur with a steady but sudden influx of non europeans ..the rest is history
