Some people NEED to be single to better themselves BEFORE entering into a relationship. Some of us don't know how to communicate or LISTEN with out reacting. Meditate , pray daily, focus on the NOW...raise your vibration

I needed to be single for 35 years, before entering my first relationship this year. So it's never too late. Also, i don't need the relationship. People don't nééd a partner. People should first learn to be perfectly fine on their own, only then can a relationship be a healthy addition to your life, not an integral part. And for some this might take a short while, for others years, decades... I really think we look at relationships in a very unhealthy way, as something that you must have to be complete.

@@Sydebern Thing is there are alot of people who are perfectly fine on their own then they get into a relationship (like happens naturally) and they feel even better. Then when they lose that person they go into a depression like state for awhile, because they had something they didn't even knew they thought they needed or wanted. Plus being with that person could help them discover something about themselves that they need to work on that they hadn't noticed before.
@Sydebern
@Sydebern 3 жыл бұрын
@@blackkyurem720 Depends on how these people spend their lives when they were single. Did they just pursue worldy ambitions, or have they explored their existence? With the latter i mean, did they have some kind of spiritual awakening? If not, they will probably be devastated by the loss of their partner. If you do not derive happiness from within, which is the source of happiness, you will be bound by objects, experiences and relationships for your happiness. And by the nature of those, you will lose all of them. In my case, i am in a LAT relation right now. I see my girlfriend about 5 days in the month, the rest of the time it is as it always was. I can say without a doubt that i will be totally fine when for some reason this relationship ends. Of course, i will be very sad about it for a while, but i love being on my own and i am happy on my own so i will be fine. The problem lies in really believing that you need the other. That is a false belief that binds you to that person. It makes your happiness conditional, dependent. Of course i do love being with my girlfriend and she is a great "addition" to my life (if you can say it like that). But she's all extra. I don't need her and i let her know that. I'm fine without her. I just like to share my happiness with her and she hers with me.

@Nik Built Something It has to do with your mood. Depression, anger, hate, for example are low vibrational states. Happiness, joy, love, are high vibrational. It all exists on a spectrum. It's the frequency of consciousness.

Wow!! You must have the natural grace to be single and have that peace. I'm single too and find that I'm complete in Christ first. However, I don't intend to be single for the rest of my life. I've always wanted a husband, my own family and a home. I believe relationships make you grow, learn and develop as a person. It's about meeting someone who's mature and confident in themselves and knows what they want that complements you and vice versa. Once we have a mutual respect for one another we can get on with life and all it's ups and downs. I'd rather experience this with my husband than on my own. I don't believe anyone wants to grow older alone?! That's just my thoughts. 😊

We are all viewing each other through a filtered lens. Social media has blinded us to what people truly are. Heck, I barely recognize women anymore because I'm used to seeing them through filters used in all their pictures, and men are showing the highlight reel and not the daily grind. We all have to start being honest with ourselves and each other. I had to take a break and focus on God and myself because it is getting to crazy out there.

I did some of my best healing while in my previous relationship. People shouldn't be scared to enter relationships if we don't feel 'healed'. It is dangerous to think we have to be a perfect human before we enter a relationship. The best foundation for a relationship is the willingness for both parties to grow on their own and together in the partnership. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without the 6.5 years of my last relationship. Relationships can also be catalysts for your own growth. Get rid of perfectionism and needing to be 'healed' first.... That can be dangerous and toxic. We learn about ourselves through our interactions with others x

sharonkanipe I’m Aquarius. We are naturally detached. So relationships aren’t as important, we value friendships more so. We also get hurt and love hard, because we wait a long time to invest in such an endeavor. And when all that time we lost or let’s say a learned a lesson in relationship failures. We tend to remain single as I forementioned. Plus I’m 47. I’ve had plenty of years of marriage experience and relationships. Living my life on my own terms is my mantra till death calls me home . 💋❤️

I had connection without chemistry many times. Emotional connection doesn't mean sexual chemistry! I am single as I am not someone I would date at the moment. I don't meet men I would like as I don't live in an area where those men are frequent and at the moment I can't move. I'm fine being single. I was married before, settled, so I will never do that again. Also, I'm not sure I want to live with someone. I would definitely need my own bedroom and space, a lot of space. But the problem with meeting another introvert is quite difficult as they do very well on their own too.

Introvert here, so yes, I confirm it's a lot more difficult for us, because we actually like being alone. Well, many of us. I don't put myself out there, I rarely meet new men, so it's settled: single for life. And I'm fine with that. It's the best choice for me, as an introvert with standards.

@placebo106
@placebo106 3 жыл бұрын
@@user-dp4bu8jy4b I'm not sure you understand the difference between introverts and extroverts. everyone’s nervous system has two modes: parasympathetic and sympathetic. When we use the parasympathetic side (nicknamed the “rest and digest” side), we feel calm and are focused inwardly. Our body conserves energy and withdraws from the environment; muscles relax, energy is stored, and our heart rate and blood pressure slow. The sympathetic side (a.k.a “full throttle”) puts us in a state of fight or flight. Our pressure and heart rate are elevated, we are alert and poised for action. Introverts thrive when they are operating in parasympathetic mode. This is the reason for the constant desire introverts have to be alone. Their desire and pension to engage in quiet, thoughtful activities away from others is not antisocial or moody behavior. It is a physiological need they have that is driven by their brain chemistry and function. When introverts are deprived of their alone time they can experience: Fatigue Mental and physical exhaustion Inability to concentrate Irritability Increased anxiety Depression The causes of introversion and extroversion are directly linked to how our brains operate and respond to neurotransmitters. So the best thing you can do for the introvert that needs time by themselves is to leave them alone.

@@user-dp4bu8jy4b Not really, I was always an introvert, since I was a child, I believe it's more genetic than environmental. Now being shy it's a different story. It may be because of insecurities. Introverts aren't necessarily insecure.

God has to be the center of our life in everything we do, specially in the most precious relationship like marriage. Chemistry and looks will fade at some point, so one have to connect in a deeper level, but not just to the other person but to God. Each person should love God more and be complete in Him, because a spouse cannot ever fulfill the emptiness of God in the other person heart. And how can anyone become wiser or make wise decisions without readying the Bible or being connected to God?

Best tips: - Men be masculine, women be feminine - Put yourself first - Set boundaries, no posting underwear selfies online etc. - Communicate, listen an do not get emotional in arguments. - Never go to bed or leave without resolving an argument, ever. - Surprise your loved one now and again, be spontaneous. - Don't obsess over them, especial if you're a man, never make the woman your God. - Make them laugh. - Be sexy for each other - Get in shape together, it's win win. - For men, be a father to your girlfriend/fiance/wife, guide her and love her.

Not just having the attitude of: accept me how I am, flaws & all, I’m amazing!😁 It’s not about vanity but it’s about becoming a truer version of yourself as well, learning from your desire towards someone else! Being the reflection of what you desire...energetically and emotionally. Also I’m going to have a VERY focused & special new moon ceremony tonight- I’m writing letters and identifying those pains to let them go. We’ll see if the letters are sent but I’m committed to healing. Dudes. I love you both so much!!!!

In relationship or not in relationship -- every man pays with his hard earned money and expiring time. You decide for yourself how much to which woman you pay up. For example for 100 get 1 hour on bedpage 24 hours a day you pick and you do anything you want for that 1 hour. We are only alive for 80 years in the end no one ever says I wish I did not bang so much.

I agree. I'd rather be single for the rest of my life, than settle for someone who I am not physically attracted too or someone who tries to control me, or irritates me. Nor do I wanna be with someone who expects me to love them more than I love myself. Its NEVER gonna happen. I will ALWAYS put myself first & foremost. I'm not obligated to contend or deal with anyone & I honestly believe people can be replaced. No one is that special that they can't be disposed of. So with that said, I love & put myself first at all times & I retain control of my emotions. I never allow anyone to have emotional power over me. This way I keep the upper hand at all times. Anyone that I am not satisfied with gets the boot & no I don't care about how they feel.

When it takes you months to know if he/she is the right person it’s you over analyzing and trying to convince yourself you made the right choice when you know in your gut feeling (within few minutes of meeting the person) that you didn’t. One knows immediately, the later just doesn’t want to accept defeat, but calls it determination to make it work... the only hard work we should be having is the inner work, not the trying hard to make the relationship work because you’re trying too hard to change the other person...

It took me 3 decades to find someone that I spiritually connected with instantly and it happened during my failed marriage. This person and I are not in communication but my heart is with him. The thing about connection, compatibility chemistry really hit home with me!!! There's this girl I went to college with I liked her at the time but she was incompatible with me! She smokes, drinks and started to do drugs during when we where at college, I loath drinking alcohol, drugs and smoking. Because of those reasons I never asked her out and tried to ignore her completely to get over my feelings for her. (this was 8 ago when we where 16) I took her out last August to catch up because it had been 5 years since we had last seen each other and I wanted to see if we had and "compatability" (looking back on it) and it felt so easy being around her, we had a Laugh, Reminisced about college and just felt so great being with her, nothing felt forced at all. I didn't try to escalate with her because I found out she started drink a lot heavier, so smoked and does/ tried a lot of drugs and those are my biggest NO NO's when it comes to someone I look at romantically. We are just friends but I would say she's my closest friend

We will girl, we will. It will be a different kind of wonderful though and that's taken me a while to get used to after I lost my husband. He was one in a million and I'm so lucky for that. I don't want a version 2.0 that will always be second best. I am struggling to figure out how to shift gears and it's hard. But just like our husbands, we will have another moment where someone shocks us by being amazing when we didn't expect it. I am holding on to the idea that when a door is closed, a window.... Much love sister! Xo

It’s been about a year since my ex and I broke up but to this day I still feel she’s that one for me. Everything was genuine, we instantly connected etc... it was just the wrong time for me I wasn’t in the best space. I pray the universe let us cross paths again once I’m where I need to be. She was a great woman

This was good overall. I have one comment about “ knowing” the person is the one. Sometimes certain triggers like covert narcissism and co-dependency masquerades as knowing and/or replaces intuitiveness because it’s familiar from past dysfunctional family or past romantic relationships. The person hasnt healed like you said. You have stated this in basic terms for those who don’t know about their/ these dysfunctions which is great. I also believe the spiritual higher power side if you are healed. Great discussion!

@Nykoooo1

@En Joy a feminazi is a hysterical feminist who pushes the idea of feminism to the extreme, where it's not so much about equality but revenge and domination, which produces those glorious slogans like men are trash, kill all men, cancel white cis men and other highly intellectual motos. In a feminazi's mind, a man is guilty of everything, even if she fucks up all by herself, as she's unable to take responsibility for anything so as to remain in her permanent victim mindset. Feminazis push for idiotic revendications that they already have such as equal rights or the oh so famous wage gap. They usually also push for islam, though it's the most violently partriarcal model of society in the world, thus proving their incoherence, idiocy, and in the end their not really caring about women as much as their simply wanting to destroy the symbol of the white male. Usually easily triggered and overweight, they sport weird fucked up and often failed hair tinctures which make them look like obese hens on acid. If you want to meet real specimens, i suggest going to womens march, go at your own risks though...

well I would say that being a woman who has been dating women in the last several years, statistics are against me along with all the other complexities it brings (people exploring etc), although I for sure have things to work on. The issue I have right now is I've taken the time to heal, work on myself, figure out what I want - everyone I'm meeting just seems down for casual, got out of a serious relationship or exploration and I'm very secure in saying I want a relationship but having been single for 8 years, it's not just anyone - as in people hear relationship and freak out at just the word but I'm not going to jump into just any relationship. If the fact that I want an actual meaningful connection scares you, then ya leave
