Thank God my husband was patient with me because I definitely needed to heal before marriage. I’ve been fortunate enough to heal with him. I have to be honest that I made it hard for him and would have understood if he would have left. I wish I could take back those early years because my husband really deserved much better than what I gave him. I do my best now to cherish and honor him every day. I 100% agree that healing is so important!! I'll be married 20 years in December. As a Christian woman I didn't realize how wounded I was. I brought with me past hurts from being burned in a previous relationship with my son's dad. I put a wall up, and as soon as I showed vulnerability, and it wasn't reciprocated, that wall went back up. I have a very patient loving husband. He stayed through all my drama. Here I was blinded, saying Lord I want out of this marriage, but the Lord being so loving and patient towards me said "just wait". We started marriage counseling, and I also started praying a prayer for my husband that I've been saying almost daily, and the Lord is not only doing a work in his heart, but especially mines. I was praying for the Lord to restore our marriage to where he wants it to be, and he honored my prayer. My heart is full, I'm thankful, grateful, and so appreciative. I'm thankful God allowed me to have a patient husband, and not someone like how I used to be. We're like two lovebirds, holding hands, plenty of hugs, and great intimacy.🥰

That's because your husband has emotional intelligence and I don't know if he is spiritual or not but that patience is in God's Word...Patience and kindness is very hard to find especially if you need healing from something and they know u not just being evil to them but really trying to unlearn some things from previous to be the best u can be for them...I must say I am very excited and happy for u I love to hear that...I was with a very impatient individual I went from being a laughable kind of person to so serious now I don't remember the last time I actually laughed around this person 😒...wishing u many, many great years of marriage 😃!

5 minutes in and what he is saying about healing or you will miss out on who could be your person is so true. I met a guy a decade ago now. He was related to a friend of mine at the time, and in a group setting he was cool, but my friend kept saying y’all need to go out. Y’all will hit it off and holy shit she was right. All we did was talk for 4-5 hours just talking and it was as easy as breathing. We both admitted we had never felt anything that intense ever. I met his mom and best friend a couple weeks after talking and they both said they never saw him like this before, but he had past traumas and commitment issues and became distant so I had to let it go. It would be another 3 years before I found something like that again, but this time it stuck and I’ve been with my husband for 7 years this July and we have a 1 year old son. 😊

With every breath, the old moment is lost; a new moment arrives. manifestation.guide We exhale and we let go of the old moment. It is lost to us. In doing so, we let go of the person we used to be. Connection is created by... connecting: talking, relating, understanding, working together; connecting. Chemistry is just “there”. It’s the chemicals in our bodies that are just “there”. And it’s like these chemicals “magnetize” two people...”pull“ them together. The chemicals aren’t created or developed or “worked on”. They just “are”. That’s why people use the term “magnetic attraction” or “magnetic chemistry” or a “chemical attraction”.
@nisey76534 жыл бұрын
Just because you have a connection with someone doesn't necessarily mean that person is "the one". Sometimes it can be a person that has a similar purpose in life as you, feeds off your energy, etc. Some ppl are meant to only be friends. And the gentleman also stated something about fear...well that's not fear, that's call being cautious. God said guard your heart. So making sure that the person you have an instant connection with is not an imposter. Sometimes it takes months to be aware of that person's intent.

Or maybe years. This is my case. The man that I just wasted 1year 9mos of my time with only took me the long way to his depression, bipolarism, and anxiety. Come to find out he was deeply hurt with no confidence, no masculinity, no passion, no positivity about life itself. He thought being cocky and sarcastic was confidence , he thought goin to the gym 6 days a week was masculine because he had muscles, but was very weak in other areas. We did have a connection as far as wanting the same things in our future, we was sexually attracted to each other but come to find out that was it. What was revealed to me over time was , he had no respect for women , he hated the idea of paying all the bills, he had a stigma against successful women , he only viewed women as a sexual object, he's for the 50/50 relationship. Hates ig models because he thinks they just sit and look pretty and get the best men with money, but deep down he really wants to be with one but he knows he dosen't have the money or the status to even hold a conversation with them let alone go on a date. Everything with him was a constant competion. He resent his mother subconsciously, he never gained direction from his father, btw his mom and dad had been married for 20 years plus he amplify that as if its him , I accidentally viewed that as "oh he's goin to be with me 20 plus years and were gonna have a successful relationship" boy was i wrong. So back to your statement just because you have a connection with someone dosent mean yall are ment to be. And you should continue to guard your heart above all else.

Yep, I remember when I was first separated from my ex hb I went to a divorce seminar and they said one of the worst things for children is to see their parents fight. It's better to separate than to stay together for the children. I was a single parent for a long time because the relationships didn't work and their fathers didn't want to be in our children's lives much. I had a hard time finding a good man who was a father figure for them. Now they are all grown up. It effected one ofy some more than the other children and he was always looking for thatale bonding but turned to the wrong ones and hot involved with the gangs and drugs. One still has anger issues but keeps it inside and my other son who was only a year when we got separates from their dad and he turned out fine. My daughter's dad was no better but she turned out fine. Fortunately they have always had me and we have always had a strong relationship and I have always been there for them.
