I'm no more a fan of Islam than you are, but does Judaism get a pass here? They've had such a law protecting them for years. If we're to have equal treatment, it's only fair that if you can't criticise Judaism, you can't criticise Christianity or Islam either. I'm not suggesting that we actually do that, that'll be regressive as fuck. We need to be able to criticise the disturbed ideology of the abrahimic faiths to ensure they evolve and become somewhat reasonable. But in the interest of fairness, we either give all a free pass from challenge, or we allow them all to be challenged and criticised as they deserve to be, and that means allowing open criticism of Judaism without the accusations of a form of racism in attempt to smear and shut people down who have perfectly valid critique.

Police Scotland will giggle with delight in the beginning at their perceived new powers, but as with the Named Person Information Sharing and Plandemic Powers, even before the public moves to have all of this thrown out (remember the public CAN give Not Guilty verdicts if they believe the law that has been broken is unjust), they will realise that it's all just too much bloody work and revolt. The teachers did that too with the Named Person stuff - hard to say which group are less educated, the plod or the teachers - usually takes them a while to figure out what's going on, but they only look at it from the point of view of how much work they have to do and how much they'll be paid to do it. At some point the plod will realise that they and their entire families are going to be locked up for holding "inconvenient views".

@@ameliagfawkes512 can you imagine the fringe, the comedy clubs will be empty the theatres will be full of lefty snowflakes, I love the fringe but should be more interesting with the crazy new rules.

@@ronniec2296 No need to image…Comedies, etc.have already cancelled this has a knock on effect with rentals, taxis, everything!!! Our Economy is at a low ebb without what made, Edinburgh a tourist hub, we’re definitely looking at a bad financial situ! Further it’s always been good to lift the spirts!! I do wish, they would stop making people from, Scotland sound rough/tough I certainly don’t talk/sound like the advertisement nor dose anyone I know, why not make the ad without this….. same old, same old! The Scots made to sound like the ad and always sloshed and ‘unwaaashed’ when nothing is further from the truth!!!
