Every drug dog search is bullshit, and anyone who has ever owned even one dog knows it. Sure, the dog can find drugs down at the practice place, but he is given a treat every time he signals, so he signals every time, like all our dogs do. If you have ever seen a dog roll over, sit, or try and shake, before you gave the command, then you understand what this scam is. They say the dog signaled, which he probably did, like he does every single time. But you can't put the dog on the stand, so there is the loophole.

@Tijuanabill

@@nf4833 It's completely ridiculous they are allowed. I feel like no judge in America has a dog, or taught it a trick, to permit this BS to continue. And its not even just the dogs. Cops are allowed to say they "smelled something" and use that as evidence. Well...what does weed smell like? Can you describe it? I can't. It smells bad. A little bit like a skunk, and a little bit like dog poo. If I have an accident in my pants, does that smell like weed? But how can they prove what they smelled? They can't, so it shouldn't be a thing. They bring the dog out, because the defense attorney can't put the dog on the stand.

Please request the court transcript: Prosecutor: "Officer Fluffy, did you see illegal items in the vehicle?" Officer Fluffy: "Woof, woof woof woof, woof woof, woof." Prosecutor: "Well there you have it jury, Officer Fluffy clearly confirmed, that he saw illegal items." Defense Attorney: "Objection, speculation. The vehicle owner had just purchased three cases of beef jerky. I move to strike the prosecutor's inquiry." Officer Fluffy: "Grrrrrrrrr."

These videos have become a trigger for my anxiety and high blood pressure but I cant stop watching them. I cant believe how people who understand their rights and hold a camera can still trigger cops. Its such a dead giveaway to their corrupt behavior. All things come to an end including misguided authority and qualified immunity. You can take that to the bank!

It’s not misguided. It’s absolutely a protected criminal with hurt ego. Then they will criminally write a false police report. Then conspire with the DA to file charges another crime. Many times the Judge will also violate his oath to help get a conviction. Nothing misguided about their criminal behaviors.

I love how you think, James Freeman. Such an intelligent, articulate, and hilarious analogy presented to ‘phone cop’. I’m a 60 year old woman who laughed so hard at this my upper denture flew out my mouth and my Maltese/poodle, Colin, caught it and ran under the bed....(took me 20 minutes to coax the little f*cker out with a feather duster and a pair of tongs). Sad ‘old lady’ problems...

The Supreme Court once overturned the conviction of someone that killed an officer who attempted to unlawfully arrest them (Bad Elk v. United States). However, that was over a century ago, now the courts say you shouldn't be allowed to resist an illegal arrest at all

Officer responds with the excited question, "Oh, you're in Texas!?" To which we all can just imagine the grin when James says, "yes, but I come up there often." At this point the officer undoubtedly smiles to himself and finally exhales as he realizes the afternoon of accumulating paperwork for the 5150 psych hold that was looking more and more probable just became someone else's problem. It is odd that there are vague statutes that can see rights suspended and the "ignorance of the law" always hurts the citizen while most "bad officers" or public servants only receive a verbal counseling or written reprimand.
