😂😂😂 When I was younger and I went into my mum and dads room really early in the morning the light from one of the lamp posts outside would shine through the end of the blinds and I would squint to entertain myself, just like the person in the video commented. My mum never takes me for eye tests though because whenever I complain I have a headache or I can’t see something she simply says: ThAtS bEcAuSe YoU sTaRe At A ScReEn AlL dAy :(

It’s because this is bull shit, the lines are a reflection, reflecting off your eye lashes into your eyes. Which is why when you squint, they become longer and when you open your eyes, they disappear...

I had astigmatism when I was a kid and i never saw the flares. Though the astigmatism did get worse as I got older, I'm 20, and now I am legally blind in my left eye, but even with that I don't see the flares.

Just like everyone else I saw this growing up I'm 16 now and just went to the eye doctor I thought this was normal and I explained to the eye doctor what I saw And said it was kind of hard to see at night and learned this was astigmatism and now I'm getting glasses for night time use thankfully it's nothing more and not a bad astigmatism

I have astigmatism. My one eye needs -2.5 and one needs -2.3. I see double objects, can't really recognize ppl from a certain distance. But yeah, wearing glasses makes you look cool though

Yeah, unfortunately you’ll probably still see this even with glasses because light reflects off the lenses unless you get a special coating which may or may not be covered by insurance. It is an absolute necessity imo I don’t think contact lenses are as effected
