I bought the Fiskars 36” axe, I need to get one of those for my splitter. My axe has the same handle, fantastic when I feel like hand splitting.

You need to clean the idle jet on your splitter motor. It will stop the serging. There are lots of videos out there on KZbin. Takes only 5 minutes

get a real pickaroon this wont last and hardly grabs compared to a real one

I have wanted to try foaming the hollow end on the fiskars to see if it helps with vibration.
