3:33 you’re so refreshingly real for this. also, I remember using big beauty blender sponges yrs ago & didn’t realize I wasn’t washing thoroughly enough w/ how round & deep product gets in..the cystic acne i was struggling w/ at the time left scars >

oh dear, so sorry for you gotta experience that 🥲 right definitely, i feel like most foundations nowadays will work with both a sponge and brush - but either one will give a better finish (depending on your makeup pref and the formula type of the foundation). love using a cushion puff tho! you can get like a pack of 5 from any kbeauty brand and use it a couple of times, wash it and then throw it away. i used this technique when i was first getting into makeup. glad you enjoyed the lil outtakes 🤓

Thanks for another helpful video! ✨ If you want something cheap, I've found the Daiso brush and sponge cleaner is surprisingly really good too. And agree, hand soap, dish soap, and cleansing oil doesn't work...the makeup residue is still stuck in. I also dry my brushes / sponges in the sun (to kill mold). I need to buy that brush drying stand. 😊

glad you found this helpful! 🫶🏻 oh i did use that back in maybe 2016/2017. maybe i'll try that again soon. the brush drying stand is one of those items you don't think will do much lifestyle-wise, but boy does it make a difference. in the past, i would take a bunch of my brushes, point it downwards and bundle them up with rubber bands. then i'll hang it to dry 😂 lifesaver!
