If Superman wasn't there for me on my worst days, I would have killed myself. I was going through immense depression and suicidal tendencies but this wonderful character taught me how to endure the worst and showed me the true meaning of hope. I might be one the few ones who understood Superman's humanity and what makes him special. and me not being from the western world helped me to understand Superman better. I owe him a lot and DC for giving me a new life, words can't describe how painful it used to be a few years back. Superman was never boring, The majority of new-gen people never tried to change their perspective to look at him [am a gen Z btw] There a lot of things am skipping but people should read All-star Superman, Superman Grounded, Superman: The Man Of Steel #20 , Action Comics #870 -, Superman American Alien, and Big city little man, Death of Superman,

When I saw the pilot for this show, I immediately loved it. It portrays Superman as what he's supposed to be: He's the most powerful being in the world, but also the kindest. That is why Superman will always be my favorite DC hero.

I got friends who think Superman is boring and I always recommend them this show, along with Superman and Lois. Both are great Superman stories that no matter what, completely understand the character and present him in the most "Superman" way possible.

I'll admit i fell into that camp of thinking superman was boring especially because of the zack synder films and injustice games, granted i went back to watch the reeves films,and worlds most wanted but this show definitely felt like the tipping point for me personally because just focusing on clark his relationships and his insecurities felt like a fresh breath of air it made me root for the guy and also made the non action segments feel like they also hold a significant importance to the plot as well. Could the villans be better? Sure but brainac took the cake for season 2 and i can't wait to see where things go in future season's

His Superman was the ever helping hand in the world always tried to help his villains like bizzaro, parasite and metallo. Class act right there. Did a way better job than anything coming after

I am surprised my adventures of Superman is good because my expectations weren’t really high to tell you the truth but for once I am glad I was wrong because this show has been good, even though personally for me I would’ve really loved the Superman show with Clark Kent and Lois lane being married and they have there son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self being a family like in dc rebirth comics which were really awesome and amazing in my opinion. My point is in general in this show, while this show,isn’t the show I really wanted at the same time though I am glad I was wrong 😑 and this show is fantastic and i am very excited to see what happens next on season 3 but that’s just my opinion.

Oh I did, still have the old comic books laying around here. He was just never interesting to me as a hero, as a hero disguised as a normal human being he was interesting but the hero part of him is just boring. He is always the most powerful and strongest of all the characters unless they have kryptonite, then anybody could beat him. Just not that interesting.

Honestly they just techify and animfy all the main villains, it is just a terrible idea to make all supervillains powered by tech instead of having supernatural powers and turn every one else into an anime version or teen of the character, it may be an accurate superman show character-wise but all the villains are still lame, Superman TAS was way better

@@CM1_SonicAndOtherStuff I’ll start by saying Cartoon Network is a mess rn, idk the last time you watched Cartoon Network, but it literally changes to adult swim at like 5pm and starts playing dexters lab and the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. When I said it fits at adult swim I meant during the toonami block which is mostly filled with anime, and maws is very anime inspired. If this show were coming out 10 years ago it would probably of been airing alongside young justice on Cartoon Network, but things are different now

I've always loved Superman, and I don't get why those things mentioned at the beginning are negatives, lol. I'm a very not-invincible human person, so it's a nice fantasy to imagine being that powerful. Also, there are so many sh!tty people in the world, it's nice to see someone who's just GOOD. We don't always need to see a reflection of our world in fiction (though, if one would actually read Superman comics, all of the misconceptions of him are dispelled. Movies and TV just generally don't do him justice). Sometimes it's good to see ideals, and how we can be better.

Well so far the cartoon is a one off. They need to keep Superman this relatable, humble and not so over the top powerful. The more and more I have learned about old Marvel and DC the more I have liked both to varying degrees. However the modern Marvel and DC suck ass by and large since the heroes are just so over the top powerful it gets boring fast.

I am usually surprised how people connected to this show - it seems it was the needed remedy for all the darker, mature portraits of the character throughout the years. For me, it's probably one of the most childish shows I've seen. Like, literally, a kid's show that is being consumed by adults, just like My Little Pony.
