I really miss Margaret. Craig and Victoria are great too, but I really miss her presence as an older woman, since I am a younger woman myself. Her tone always seemed so sage and calm and comforting. I still go back to some of her videos to help ease my anxiety when I can’t sleep. I remember in one she says, “honey, you are not that unloveable” in reference to the fear that our exs would just forget about us. It made me burst into tears to hear that. I really thought I was that unloveable until she said it. I also really miss when she’d bring in an article to read.

I had a call with Coach Victoria 2 weeks back. I’m staying strong and continue to work on myself. Just arrived back from a trip to Iceland with my cousin. My ex has stopped viewing my Instagram stories now. She even turned off her active status so that she couldn’t see me online. Looking back, I'm blessed it didn't work out. I was infatuated and not in love. Now I'm back again after my 3 year relationship ended. Dude I’m going through the same thing. She never trusted me and had a strong fear of abandonment I realize now, and I hid hanging out a few times with a group of friends in public, one of whom is a girl that I’ve known for years that once liked me cause I knew she would flip and overthink it even though I’ve never had interest or done anything with this friend. She found out I hung out with them/her and is convinced I did more than that, and doesn’t believe me or taking any accountability. She can’t see why I was afraid to tell her (based on past experiences and she told me not to tell her what I was doing while she was gone for three months). Whatever happened with your situation?

I saw my ex on Saturday I was eating in a restaurant with a male friend and she passed by the street near the restaurant and we locked out I was in no contact with her for a month then later on that day I called her I was drunk and I was just under a huge panic attack and she answered her phone she was drunk too and she told me that she's at some party she missed me and she loved me and we where supposed to meet today when we both knock off from work she started not answering my calls and I just made peace now that she's seeing someone else and I love her enough to let her go I don't want her to come back even I'm just going to work on myself this whole year I'm done with her mind games.. ​@@Renren625She phoned me after 6 months. She was very emotional and cried a lot, tried to explain herself. First she asked me if I'm dating someone new. Then she told me about her life, some good and bad news. She wanted me to do so, but I didn't want her to know much about me. I just told that everything was okay and I focus on myself, trying to improve. We talked about our relationship and breakup. I think she just needed that conversation for herself. She told me that she was thinking about me a lot and etc., trying to text me and looking for my online status. But I knew she was still with that dude, so I don't even tried to ask her out or anything. I'm not that kind of person. She ended the call with "it was nice to hear you, maybe someday". And that's it. At some point you just need to move on. Now I'm dating new girl, still thinking about her, but I can live with that. In the end we both lose. I lost her, but she lost me as well.

I’m curious cause I don’t eee many videos about this. We were in long distance and I was unfaithful, after finding out we still talked daily until recently someone from my past messaged my GF. We completely broke up. That next week was her birthday and I ended up staying two nights with her, then took her to the airport and picked her up the following week and then we had a Valentine date the following week. Since then it has got from “if we get to a point of I rekindle” to “I’m trying to move on and I hope you do too. We haven’t talked in a week now, trying to finally give her space with no contact. So do these videos work or help for a situation like mine or is it just hopeless? I love her more than anything and I am working to be better in hopes we can heal as individuals and hopefully come together and work towards a strong relationship.

No contact only works when you've both invested a significant amount of time/emotion betwixt the two of you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and so too does showing the initiative to better your station and enhance your life. This person will have erred...make it so. Don't pine, wallow, or deign for their approval. Vie for yourself...demonstrate that you can live with and without them. They come and go. Fk em...let them walk away and make a mistake they will ultimately regret. It's good to see you feel heartache however. It means you are capable of loving another...and you learn most through these collective failures. Personally, it is one of a myriad of reasons why I, as a man, will never marry because nothing lasts...and in my experience...they don't seem to like having all of my attention. 😅🤣

Don't tell them, just remove urself, if they ask for friendship just politely deny it and remove urself from them. My ex told me after she started dating someone new "I dont want u, I dont want to hear fron you, leave me alone, I love him not you" and now shes the one contacting, so just remove urself without them knowing it directly. They will feel the absence.

Dont post anything on social media how happy you are or how bad u are, just, isolate urself from the world a few weeks or months and become the best versio, an ex will come back, if my avoidant one came back contacting me 10x after every wrong move I did, there is hope for you if ur willing to focus on urself

How gave things worked out for you? Did you stick to no contact? I don't think there is a specific span of time it can take months to years from what I can tell. The point is to work on yourself. It might speed things up if you cut off the mutual friend though as your ex can probably keep tabs on you through them.

She texted me to see how I was doing so after a few text back and fourth I called her and invited her over to make dinner with me that following Sunday and she did. At first she said she just wanted to be friends but I kept making her laugh and being a little flirty. Wasn’t Until about 2 hours in when we started making out and she stayed the night. We had 3 solid rounds. Went to the beach the next morning and it was as if we never broke up. Couldn’t keep our hands off each other even at the beach. We’re not official as of now but since then she’s dropped every other guy she was talking to and I told her I’m not in a rush to get back into a relationship with her. That’s a lie of course but it’s working really well in my favor as of now as we’re hanging out a lot, regularly going to the gym together and we’re having sex 3 to 6 times a week.
