Yes, you are right. The Companions used to come to the Prophet, peace be upon him and tell him that they were having blasphemous thoughts, dangerous doubts, and questions such as who created God and things like that. The Messenger of God said to them that this is evidence of the strength of your faith, because when Satan tries with all his effort to make man disobey God, but the man doesn't fall in his tricks, as the last solution he has is to put obsessions and doubts in his heart, and the Prophet said that if these obsessions and thoughts come to any of you, you must seek refuge in God from Satan.

I try to avoid your videos most of the time because every time I stream your videos, two minutes in I start crying uncontrollably. Even right now I am punching this words in through a torrent of tears. You look so pure and unadulterated it hurts to realize that you have to live in a world that is right now nothing but impurity and sin. When I picture angels it is someone like you. Allah must really love you for Him to have reverted you to his deen. I'm more than certain that in Barzakh, in the life before this life, you must have been ordained to be pure. And hence I'm certain also of the fact that you will never loose your Iman come what may. You were born Allah's slave and you will die one when your time comes. Narrated Jabir: A man manumitted a slave and he had no other property than that, so the Prophet (ﷺ) canceled the manumission (and sold the slave for him). Nu'aim bin Al-Nahham bought the slave from him. Sahih al-Bukhari 2415 or Vol. 3, Book 41, Hadith 598 an addition to this it was said the slave died the same year, so the last year of that slave he couldn't enjoy freedom because of Muhammad. Narrated Jabir: A man amongst us declared that his slave would be freed after his death. The Prophet (ﷺ) called for that slave and sold him. The slave died the same year. Sahih al-Bukhari 2534

first off may Allah reward u immensely brother, so i have been through the exact same thing, and these doubts were what they call waswas and they were so intense bc shatytan had no other option right, so i just kept trying to convince myself that this is the truth times and times again just like u said, but i acknowledged that we are not meant to convince ourselves nor prove that islam is right we even have these doubts and call on Allah and pray more that means it is not stemming from us, shaytan might trick u when u try to convince yourself and bring more doubts u should really just have faith in yourself that it is not you and that you love Allah and it is a wave and it will pass, sending u all prayers who r going through this i know how tough it is!

Another thing that is very useful for me is thinking about how my life would be if I leave Islam, which trully scares me because I will be with 0 guidence and come back to the mambo jambo life style... You can also compare other religions with Islam and again, you will realize that Islam is the only way. If you are in doubt about the existence of God, just try to give a solid explanation to every single claim that the Quran makes about the Universe, history, the linguistic miracle... "But if you are unable to do so-and you will never be able to do so-then fear the Fire fuelled with people and stones..." Quran 2:24 My recommendation as a western revert muslim 9 month ago is to stay strong in your Imam because you can have doubts on this or that, but what trully leads you to Jannah is obeying Allah SWT, so trust Him as well.

Its amazing how these videos pop up when you need them the most. I was struggling a lot with my iman since the past weeks that no matter how persistently i tried it seemed to me that Allah SWT is perhaps not pleased with me and that my efforts were in vain. But Alhumdulillah i came across this video and realised that my efforts are truly not in vain and that Allah will never abandon me no matter the situation. Thank you for this video. It was pretty cathartic for me as someone struggling with similar issues. For context; I am someone trying to get back into Islam whilst dealing with ongoing ADHD, anxiety and sleep problems. My Iman can change week by week. The times I cannot pray (for example during menses) can be the hardest because I can become nervous of attack from Shaitaan and often will get attacked. It was really helpful to keep thinking about my weaker faith as attacks from Shaitaan. It certainly confirms my resolve to fight back!

The prophet said if your eeman were to remain the same as when you are in my presence, the angels would shake hands with you. Brother, it is hard these days. The Prophet said a time would come when holding on to your deen would be like holding on to hot coal. Be firm and constant. Islam is the only religion that offers a COMPLETE way of LIFE. As salaam alaikum Building on this because Ive been going through this exact experience, Allah says in the Quran how He can give the best rebuttals to whatever people say(25:33 and 21:18 in the Quran), inshaAllah what ive seen work better than trying to refute it on my own (often going in circles) is resolving to myself that i know what i know and Allah knows best, i cant know except what He wills for me to know, reaffirming that my simple belief is enough for me even if there are things i cant logically argue yet, then appealing to Allah for defense against this waswas, and the perfect understanding always comes from Him in a fraction of the time it takes for me to make sense of it on my own

I don't know if it's just me in the entire world, but my way of knowing there's a Creator is by analyzing your whole life from birth to this day. Your family nucleus, your siblings, how unique was and is your life experience and how either good or bad decisions made by your parents or yourself affected you directly, so your own actions have a reaction. It's like it's just SUPER IMPOSSIBLE to not believe in a CREATOR when NOTHING about life is a joke, just coincidental, emotionless, unimportant, meaningless, just energy being in existence for no specific significant reason. NO, there's a powerful force behind everything that has happened and keeps happening in your individual life. That's truly like getting your Iman attacked on, I think I got the accurate answer, I used to go through the same. Here it is When you know, and r sure that the doubt that is rising doesn't need to reconsidered, and is already solved, don't think on it, in surah Nas, ayat no. 4 114:04,that (I seek refuge) from the doubts(whispers) of evil spirits, brother it's those spirits trying to waste ur time on doubts that r solved already, don't want u to feel good, it is relatable when negative thoughts of depression arise in your mind even when u already had quieten them

Usually for me bro this happens when Allah wants me to take more action to get closer to him. For you this maybe too, you just have to find out what it is. Do more and learn more. Never is enough, for glorifying and praising our lord in the way that pleases him. We can always do more. May allah bless you brother and increase our iman. One thing that helps me and may help you, is learning the english of the surahs in the quran which can help to enhance the focus of our prayers. Meditate upon the meaning of these sruahs and apply them to your life. As allah says in surah baqarah ayat 2, this book is a guidance for those conscious of god. May allah increase us in iman, focus in prayer and bless us with jannah. Ameen.

Here are some video ideas for you to consider: (I'm personally struggling with these things so I'd love to hear you speak about them.) 1. What is "halal fun" as a Muslim because at a minimum, fun includes music and dancing for many which is haram. 2. How to adjust to living with people (coworker, classmates, friends and family) with such different lifestyles as our own? (Whether muslims or non Muslims, it's hard to find relatable people following islamic rulings.) Basically the social aspects of being a Muslim. 3. How to trust Allah SWT's plan more and develop more Tawakkul?

I learned some things that might help when my iman got low. Iman increases and decreases and that's normal because you are a Insan(Human). Insan in Arabic means Human, if we remove the 'n', the word becomes 'insa', which means 'to forget'. So you see, the word 'forget' is taken from the word 'human'. That's why we must remember Allah by reading the Quran or listening to its recitation. Meditate on Allah's creation, do good deeds, check if we are doing sins without knowing about it, and Ask Allah to increase our Iman and Guide us. These are the things I experienced and worked for me. I wanted to share this so it might help others... I will do my best to stick to it too inshallah.
