I'm in deep southern U.s. All I needed to do was small but intense repair. I wouldnt be a roofer. Even f i where a man and younger. Very hard. I would only work nights. Lol. I couldn't find where to ask you. But do you have any experiences with lp smart side wooden slotted soffits? And if so what's your impression or experiences with such a piece if its all treated of course inside and out. If you know. I'd really like to know. Thank you if you have time to answer. Are there any shingle shortages or cost gone up? How about the prices of plywood, has that gone up a lot?

Plywood has skyrocketed, no shingle shortages yet. 7% price increase from shingle manufacturers is being discussed but not implemented yet.
