Yes. The social expectations for women are different. We are taught to not pursue men because that’ll make us cheap and unappreciated if the men don’t feel the same. It’s for good reasons IMO. Some men might take advantage of women who like them. They’ll have sex with them but deep down they know they won’t marry them. Women can easily get used for being too outward on this type of things. When I hear this, I just think of women who choose terrible men. And those are the men who are highly attractive and successful who can get a new girl every weekend if they wanted to. They’re like kids in a candy store. They never had to develop skills and a decent personality because they’ve gotten everything they wanted for doing a fraction of that. There are so many good men that can’t even get a date because they’re not tall enough, successful enough, or they’re “corny”.
