I will ALWAYS pursue a woman that I like. HOWEVER, if she has hurt me in some way or made me feel like there is another guy in her heart/mind, I will NOT pursue her the same way. I’ve had girls do those things and yet still expect me to pursue or “simp”. When a guy or girl just wants sex, a lot of them will lower their standards. When a guy wants a relationship with a girl, his standards for her are higher when compared to a girl that he only wants sex from. Girls are no different. When it’s based on LUST ONLY, you don’t really care too much. But when your heart is involved, you move differently. When it’s based on LUST, you ask questions like, what are you doing tonight? When your heart is involved, you ask questions like, how is your relationship with your father? But I can’t speak for all men. Just speaking from me personally.

Yup, and sometimes both of you are insecure and the relationship spectacularly implodes like what happened to me when I dated a friend I'd known for 4 years 😭 I had just started dating again after my marriage ended, and I didn't know that his last girlfriend had cheated on him... his friend told me only after I had already broken up with him. I met a guy one month ago. We clicked instantly. He’s sooo my type, makes me laugh, insanely smart and emotionally intelligent. We’ve been texting and calls here and there since his departure - he lives in a neighboring country. I sent him a message that I miss his presence randomly. Instantly he text to say he’ll call in 1 hour - he called and we spoke for 4.5HOURS!! At the end of our call, he asked if I was feeling better and comforted. well beware of narcissists who will express feelings towards you within a couple of weeks of chatting with you online and then expect you to feel the same when you're still getting to know them and no trust or healthy foundation has been established yet. however they say they love you and that you have them forever (you haven't even had a voice/video call yet). but they keep asking invasive questions about your feelings when you've already told them that you'd like to continue getting to know them and see where things go. but that's just not (soon) enough for the crazy person so they keeping on trying to break your boundaries. when that doesn't work they start taking offense at everything you say, saying that they are just emotionally sensitive and feel hurt by you. and from there on they feel justified in being verbally abusive towards you...

My Honey got me diamond earring for Christmas. He gave me the gift box in the car while he was driving. I opened the box and in my excitement I didn't meet his expectation in enthusiasm. His comment was " you don't know how to accept a gift". I understand now that he wants excitment! Hugs kisses holding his hand and telling him emphatically how much I loved his gift he picked out for only me. I myself do not get overly excited about anything ever. I realized he needs that. Omg 😢 I think I may have messed up my chances. He bought a Manson for me and us in another state to surprise me and only asked me for $5hundred to wrap up this home ,, and I was upset because he didn't even ask where I wanted to live. also beware of boys who love it when you engage them and respond enthusiastically when all is good, even give you a few crumbs. and they mention big things like they are falling in love and a relationship, yet never act on them or try to progress the connection in any meaningful way. somehow they are always tired to do that first voice call but they still stay up late doing other things. you're never truly a priority so when you start distancing yourself as you do not want your time wasted and your feelings played with, then they come onto you all upset and having all of these demands that they themselves are unable to live up to and just expect you to carry the entire connection smh
