Shock and Awe - Brilliant video - i just did this dungeon and it took at least an hour LMAO when we killed the dragon i thought (OMG) i am glad it is all over! I am a new player, but no! you should try Tagilus's Miracle it works the same way as the Conqueror's Periapt, it apply to your pawns too and also you can use it 4 times too just like Conqueror's Periapt.

This works on pawns and fighter pawns perform about as well as any Maw based fighter build, which is quite funny. The downside is the utility slots lost to gain parity with a single weapon slot.

as long as your mainhand is empty the bonus applies. bur shield is still the most effective because you get irems that give bonus for shields

I've noticed dagger classes can still use Dodge and Double Vault when barehanded, so would an Assassin be the best way to abuse this build, or are there Fighter/Mystic Knight skills that are better?

Fighter and Assassins are indeed the best for this. Magick Shields do not get the bonus from Bloody Knuckles.

You could also pump the damage with Clout; Vehemence and Autonomy - and level Assassin all the way through from 10 to max Strength. Which is what I'm trying to do. There SHOULD be an easier way to get the Bloody Knuckle that doesn't involve having to slay a dragon enough times to get something dragonforged to "enhance," OR beating the game including DLC with an alt toon. : / (Especially since it would require New Game Plus - since there's only one save slot)

You can get Bloody Knuckles from Purifying. But i rather do a guaranteed Quest than relying on random chance.

@@dugarrYT I don't disagree at all; but in order to beat the dragon you have to be high enough level to kill it... and that would be a LOT easier with a niche as hell build, if you could get the bloody knuckles any other way but beating the game and DLC once already. I wanted to play unarmed all the way through, not starting from level 100-150. I mean at least now I know how to get the ring of perserverence... but in this current run I still haven't gotten the BBI chests that you can glitch through doors to get early, to respawn. So I can't farm them lmao. I did the resting for 3-10 days thing, and all I can say is, it didn't work for me.

The max strength increase on augments is only 35% and clout+vehemence gives 30% already so when you place autonomy as well then autonomy's effect will be completely ignored ,wasting an augment slot

Oh wow this reminded me of Final Fantasy 2, and actually got me hoping we get some kind of similar system for DD2 (if and when it comes) In FF2 you do shit damage initially without a weapon, but if you keep training your bare hands eventually it just scales faster than literally all the other weapons in the game and even some of the strongest spells, you just do ridiculous damage XD The more I think about it, DD was really lacking in weapon variety. No axes (that I know of anyway) no maces (there are some one handed blunt weapons but most are two handed aren't they?) and absolutely zero polearms. I would have LOVED to have had a lance or spear or even a halberd but no :( Come on Capcom, make it happen! They celebrated the 10th anniversary of the game (kinda) but not even a hint of a sequel?

@@dugarrYT my brother and i were recently discussing giving the game a go again. we both got it on release when it hit the 360, and then dark arisen came out. the amount of hours sunk into it, only to find that the builds we both made for the Ur-dragon (or w.e that end game mp shared health pool dragon was) weren't exactly the most effective or efficient builds taking on Daemon 2nd or Death. lots of induced rage until we both completed it and shelved the game. how there hasn't been a DD2 is beyond me, i can also recall setting up a VPN for myself, brother and a handful of friends to play DDO but it wasn't as exciting 🤷🏻‍♂️. i'll try giving your build a go, it seems more efficient than the ranger or mystic knight builds i've seen, unless i'm mistaking your burst damage for the other builds higher dps overall.

This build has enormous dmg, but also a flaw you have to know if you go this route. you will have to utilize some items (same as for fighter) if it comes to enemies that only take magick dmg like the living armor in stage two. or at very least take up an elemental shield in those fights.

I''ll stack 9 fold and a 9 fold/rivet or 9 fold/hunter..Then magic balance ( buff)5 X or more depending...I can kill the black lion thing with ONE SHOT to the head without buffing. i just stand on the ledge outside the village...I can kill 3 cyclope, 2 mage in a room via buffing a couple of time..WITHOUT even stepping into the room...with ONE ritcha. I can kill the UR dragon via buffing 5-6 times...As soon as it lands... One shot to a rear foot with 9 fold...That's when I use the bolt hunter..scan his entire body He dosnt get up again....but I like to loot his drops. Never the less it's over in under 100 -150 sec I cant fight like that all the time...becuase I like to train my pawns. They can kill anything in regular game...without me causing any damage. i just run in circle or swing at thin air...so the monster will que in on me...or take a little damage My pawns will kill anything that tries to kill me Beats me how much damage...sometimes I'll just shoot dragons in the body. foot ..ect with craploads of rivet shots. I like to watch dragons stump their explosive feet :-P The RivetBolt has massive RANGE if you have augmented range skills. I can hit the castle WALL...from that broken down building..where the bandit comes out.... furthest from the wall That's where I TEST my range..I can hit the UR dragon from the BRIDGE ( where the corrupt pawns were) in WING TIPS flopping around or head via 9 fold with Range skills. The UR dragon will do that to WASTE time. He dosnt do that for too long when I play. Look below your feet...you'll see drops..when you shoot out his wing tips. Just for kicks...I farm, so I get bore..so I do wacky stuff...PLAY the Game. I'll lure Diamon 1st form to lunge at me... WAIT till the last sec..just so I can shoot him in the head with 9 fold. watch him get propell back then walk in circles. He cant hurt me...I have auto regen and my pawn will heal me. Even he gran me from time to time. Cast a healing orb while I buff :-P

@@dugarrYT Im playing MHW at the moment. Trying to farm warrior's shaft so i can augment all my glaive. It's a pain becuase the drop rates are LOW to begin with..Then it gets even lower becuase of the different weapons. I have stones for other builds but not enough for glaive. I have one with heath regen and a couple attack stones. The second attack stones is hard to get...but I have it. It;s the only weapon I'll use in MHW ..due to jumping and SPEED..That's why I play Magic archer than mystic KnighT.. More speed. One time I had Temper 3 dragons DOWN on the ground flopping around :-P They were all trying to gang bang me. I just spam JUMP and slice whatever on my way down..Health Regen and health boost ( healing orb..sort of like DD) I have a couple of those bloody knockles Rings I have DMC and all Tomb Raiders. Mostly becuase of the JUMPING mechanics during combat I cant play 1st person shooter...I get dizzy or motion sickness.
