I love this message! I also believe that people who think content creators are cringe is because they lack the confidence to be cringey and low-key wish that they could get out of their own way and embrace the cringe enough to start their own YT channel or social media! I was definitely one of those people and it wasn't until I turned 40 that I had zero f's left to give and that the f's I had to give were keeping me from starting my KZbin channel. Now, I couldn't care less what people think of me. I'm doing this first and foremost for myself as a creative outlet and as I continue, the people who are for me will be there to support me. So I'm going to continue to let my cringe flag fly high and I hope all my fellow small KZbinr's do the same! Wishing you all so much success in 2025!!✨

What’s crazy is the first video I saw of yours, I thought you were cringe. I just didn’t like the way you talked (the way your tone goes up at the end of your sentences). But I still “liked” that video bc I appreciated your effort, so you keep showing up on my feed. 😅 But then THIS video is what hooked me. Tess, this is a great content! Us older folks might be a little annoyed by the uptalk, just letting you know in case you wanted to try to improve on that. It’s funny you mention that successful online entrepreneurs won’t make fun of us but only those who don’t understand. I’ve always thought they would because when I started as a musician, which is a good part of the reason I’m now starting on social media, I constantly felt like I was trying to prove myself to more experienced musicians to get them to take me seriously and I still feel like that to this day. It seems that many of them just treat me like a wannabe and I’ve always felt that successful content creators would look at me like that too because I’m not nearly on their level and they’ll think I never will be and that I should just run along and not try to be something I’m not.

I personally think the apps are VERy different from my experience TikTok is definitely easier to gain views and go “viral” but KZbin is a little bit more work in the beginning but you gain more of a family instead of just getting the views you get the views,engagement, and a “family” type feel! Hope this helps!!
