I just made a post saying something similar lol. The money may be better on KZbin but I'm having a lot more fun on TikTok because I'm able to reach people easier, we're having conversations in my comments, and it's so much more fun and interactive there. Here I'm posting videos and getting 10 views a video and talking into the void. At least on TikTok, I am talking to the people who are watching my videos and building an actual community. I'm less doing it for money than I am just to build a community and that's exactly what I'm getting on TikTok. If I end up making money great of course, I'm a human who needs to live, but right now TikTok is giving me what I need 😅

As a longtime KZbin Music user, they’ve actually had that year end wrap up for a few years now. But I converted to premium years ago & never looked back. I get a streaming service with more music than any other platform, background play for all yt videos, and the ability to download music and videos on the go. I know I sound like an ad right now, lol, but honestly premium is SO worth it to me. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I would never go back to Spotify, tbh.

I tried KZbin Music once I got my KZbin premium subscription and it is literally so much better than all of the other music streaming services I've tried. For one, I'm the type of person who will listen to a song on repeat until I'm sick of it, and so far YT Music is the only one that allows me to do that. There are also rare or unreleased songs I like that are only available on KZbin, and I like that KZbin Music allows me to listen to them on their app.

That’s true BUT that 200 number you see on tik tok isn’t even really real. It’s a vanity metric they use to get you to keep posting and make you think people are watching even though they actually are not and are most likely scrolling past within seconds

Tiktok’s algorithm inflated people’s views by pushing content and other platforms don’t do that at all in the same way. They push popular creators and topics, not just “anything”.

I have a Tiktok but I never invested in it because IG and KZbin are just so much lucrative (they're also trusted and been around a long time). I have noticed myself that engagement on IG has picked up with the carousels. I ALWAYS use stories and love them, I also enjoy commenting on reels.

Honestly somewhat glad tiktok may get banned. It’s been a struggle for me for years after growing a ton initially. It also really doesn’t fit into my brand/aesthetic on my other platforms which has been really hard for cross promotion and overall branding purposes

I have to be honest as a person who's avoided using TikTok since it's come out I started posting on there in July of this year and it is so much easier to gain an audience and get eyes on your videos than it is on KZbin. As a new content creator, I find that refreshing and I'm bummed that TikTok is going to be banned and I jumped on the bandwagon way too late. I just recently downloaded Snapchat again and it makes zero sense, I already want to uninstall it because the user interface is overwhelming. I don't understand why it's becoming popular again. I hated it then and I still hate it now. Quite frankly, it's easier to reach people and create a community of like-minded people on TikTok and therefore easier to organize if necessary. The algorithm on TikTok is way better than any of the other social media sites out there and American companies don't like that.
