@@ThaddBoiiThis is partially true, but it’s mostly genetics. But, yes, sleep is incredibly important. When do humans grow the MOST, relative to their current size? From babies to toddlers. It’s because they sleep and eat, and not much else.

Good stuff man. I tell my son this all the time. He's 16 and plays football. I'm always telling him if you want to great you have to embrace the grind and make it easy. People pay their hard earned money to see people do things that they don't have the discipline and/or determination to do because they respect the sacrifice(s) you made to do it...

Good stuff!! TRUTH!!!. Its a blessing that you’re not the best on your team. If you are the best, FIND ANOTHER TEAM!!! These dudes that come out of Florida, Texas, California are not the best players growing up! If you’re not the best. You have a baseline to catch up to. (the best player on your team). Ima give u all a starting point. Grab a deck of cards. Flip them over. Pull that card. Black = Squats. Red = Push Ups. Mix and match any way you want. Black = Sit ups. Red = Squats. Do this every day. You can even watch TV and do this!!! Summertime. Do this 2x’s a day. Ray Lewis did this while he wasnt being recruited highly. But this is how 3 stars outplay 5 stars. I’m sure Jackson Blaziken did this when he turned 11 or 12 years old! Most importantly, apply this mentality to LIFE!! You may have to catch up to get on that level playing field but the Cream eventually rises to the Top.

Squat-Sleep-Snack Squat: has the biggest impact on speed + vertical jump, and the quads + glutes are by far the largest muscle groups Sleep: Google the benefits of sleep/effects of sleep deprivation Snack: aim for 1g protein/lb bodyweight, incorporate calorie-dense foods if a hardgainer (e.g., peanut butter, whole milk, salad dressing, etc). Bonuses: creatine, Vitamin D (deficiency very common + detrimental; talk to your doctor m), and a basic multivitamin (Omega-3 would also help)

yo i play cricket, and I'm extremely skinny. My plank routine is 3 sets, 1 min. Now, I have a fitness test coming up monday, and just one set, I can't do more than 2:20. That is 45% of my ability, yet I give up. How can I unlock that next gear so I can go to 4 min? Also I can't even do one proper push up yet.
@commandermaze6334Ай бұрын
A plank is all mental. Depending on the time you’re shooting for you have to hold on for what? 40 more seconds? 2 minutes? You can do anything for 2 minutes. When I was working towards hitting 4 minute planks regularly I’d literally clamp down on my shoulder with my teeth until I heard “Drop”. You can do it good luck

If your primary goal is to bulk up, you can honestly just replace planks with squats (ideally barbell) and focus on getting enough protein + calories
