@@prawngravy18 point:1 necromorphs does not work that way, they are reanimated flesh, , the electric experiment on the amputated frog leg on sci-fi steroid, not mutated humans point number second, the whole point of having wearable tech is to keep the hands free, this takes another direction by having the various visible pieces stuck directly in the flesh, like the 0-g controls straight from the left wrist rather than from cuff on the suit, the helmet, which usually protects the head being not only cracked, but also displaying the brain, which means the skull, that serves the same objective on a wetware standpoint already failed point # 2.5 revengeance, this sequence is very important in the original game, where isaac is completely mute and the only real time we see his face after the intro, right before all of the meta-narrative focuses on how he lost his head due to all of the supernatural stress and the marker, and here he literally lost his head

He doesn't though, if you get the true ending, and have played number 2, you'd know that everything Isaac does after chapter 10 is because of the markers influence. The marker wanted to go back to the planet, Daniels was the good guy in the end. Isaac goes back to Earth and makes another marker because he's still under the markers influence and has lost his mind..

I like the joke, If you look at the infested suit's faceplate Issac's skull is literally fused with it, so it makes sense taking off the mask removes his entire head. but a part of me wishes they had modelled an infected version of Issac's head to go under the mask, maybe one that was just the bloody and fucked up half of his skull and brainstem that you don't literally see poking out of the helmet's faceplate.

Well...that was a pretty bad take on the final jumpscare, the original had Isaac looking over the corner of his eyes and seeing Nicole down on the fllor, and when she jumped on him there was the infamous hallucination storm effect to add to it. The section of the planet falling back looked crappy for something made more than a decade after the original.

I am of the same opinion too, the ending seems pretty underwhelming really comparing to the original, I personally think they got lazy for some reason but from what I can tell most of the remake seems like it improves on the original for the most part expansion of the story, graphical improvements, audio sounds better, more in game mechanics voice actors I am a bit mixed on, there are sections of certain levels that are better in the original not sure if retail price is worth 70 bucks maybe worth 35 to 40 dollars for a remake really... maybe 50 if we are really pushing it, overall I am alright with it stays mostly faithful to the original source material, I feel like they can fix most of the problems through update patches but that is just me.
