We all love a good boss fight here at Access, so much so we've imagined what it would be like if WE were bosses. What would our attacks be like? Would we be difficult to defeat? And most importantly, what would be our weak spot? Please let us know your own weak spots in the comments!

Considering how Nath reacts with a short term memory emergency wipe to pressure, I'd day he would be the glitchy boss. The one that freezes the console or corrupts the save file, so his weakness are high dps weapons that do the work too fast for him to do his thing. Dave would be the ally accidentally turned boss, like when the STARS members of Racoon city turn into zombies with a bit more HP and his weakness would be circling around him (I think he just isn't the kind to chase around).

I'd be a pretty standard boss at first, but I learn from mistakes, so everytime I miss I get more accurate, everytime I get hit I get better at predicting your attacks and dodging or blocking them. So my weakness would be someone who adapts quickly or who doesn't play with a pattern and is choatic

Nah, that's the secret way to get him to take himself out, but once you lay a hit on him he gets agro and won't fall for the NPC trick.

I’m a big introvert. So I would be an optional boss. One that you would have to hunt out. I’d be hidden in some cave system. As I’m also lazy, lol, my attacks would be me hiding then suddenly popping out for a quick attack before hiding again (no sustained attacks for me). My weakness obviously would be people. The more people who attack me the weaker I’d get.

Rob is way off. He'd be the easiest boss to bypass if not beat. "Oi, Roberys, your least favorite Skyrim vendors are sleeping soundly in their houses that way" - pointing at an angle that will remove him as an impediment to your journey. Walk on by when he departs to do what we've seen him reference time and again.

My weakness would be my lack of interest in fighting the protagonist. Picture this, you enter a large circular room after picking up a suspicious amount of health, the cutscene plays and the music gets all kinds of musicy. Then I walk out with a beer in one hand and a book in the other, completely ignoring the protagonist. If you don't attack me for five minutes I'll just finish my beer and wave you on to the next level while going to get another beer. If you attack me, oh boy, am I going to be a game breaking bullet sponge purely out of spite.

Come on Rob, we all know your weak spot would be water graphics. It would be enough to stop you from any attack you were planning to unleash just so you can marvel at the beauty. That said, the weeknesses you discribed were fitting too. Especially the LOTR one.^^ Rosie's were also nice. That's a telegraphic moves boss if I've ever seen one. This was really a great topic. It's nice to see that after years you still get your creative juices flowing.

I would be a boss that is so into the order of things that my weakness is doing something completely illogical. Similar to Psycho Mantis, switching the controller port. I'm a simple man of routine. I like consistency. Do something that doesn't make rational sense and my head goes spinning into a tizzy.

I’d like to be an alternative/ hidden boss fight that isn’t mandatory to beat the main storyline but if defeated and my life is spared the option to be your companion is unlocked.

I'm definitely a secret/optional boss masquerading as an NPC. I'm the tutorial/guide character telling you how to fight, offering snippets of lore or intel about the next area and/or boss. However there's some trigger, something I tell you not to do, some place I tell you not to go, and if you do I'm there, shaking my head in disappointment and asking why you didn't listen, then revealing my true form as some horrendous superboss and trying my damndest to kill you. The fight is unfair on the surface, but for those completionists that actually read my dialogue and paid attention it's easy, I've already told you exactly how to defeat me, all you had to do was listen.

Upon further review, Dave would be an even easier boss than dodging Rob with a "Hey, your least fave Skyrim vendors are sleeping over there" line. Just kill the lighting of the boss arena, put on a scary mask and give him a good jump scare. "Booga Booga!" He'll run for the hills screaming about his human rights while you continue along your merry way.

IRL, I have keen, extended focus. Working in manufacturing with a machine that never tires, I'm required to spend 12 hours straight moving and thinking at a relentless pace. As a boss, I would keep the pressure on hard, fast, and heavy. That is until my flow is interrupted. A secondary machine goes down and I have to hurry to fix it so I can keep up with the primary machine, a co-worker drops the ball and I have to pivot to keep things rolling, and eventually I blow my stack. If the hero can divert my focus or open up my attack pattern using some clever footwork/blocking/what-have-you, I'd be vulnerable for a short period as my brain melts temporarily into goo. Rinse and repeat.

if dave was a boss i imagine him having 2 final forms, one final form would be a horror game themed boss, the other would be a much more difficult horror themed boss, ( themed after a different horror monster) wearing a onesie, and phis trigger would be playing scary multiplayer games ( dead by daylight resident evil resistance etc ) if he wins you get the horror themed form if he loses you get the angry onesie form

I would be a bit of the dramatic type of boss that would pose as the friend while manipulating things in the background, finally culminating in a huge dramatic reveal. My weakness would be my sense of self righteousness I guess. Like, I know I'm not that great but I can get a bit holier than thou whenever I get a vision for the future.

I’d be the third or so party member you picked up who works with you the whole game until inevitably revealing my true motivations and battling you on a rainy bridge or rooftop. To beat me, you’d have to play completely differently than you had up to that point because I know you so intimately. I’d make you use all the items you’ve hoarded.

I agree with Rob on something - Ash's boss choice. Ash, our lady of horror, made me a bit sad this morning to hear her talk about what kind of boss she'd be. 🤗 I figured she'd be like either Lady D or Donna Beneviento from Resident Evil VILLage. Someone would make the mistake of it being an easy boss fight, only to be suckered in, proven wrong, and beaten silly within seconds. Another possibility for Ash could be Slender Man. In the game, he was everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he have his son join him near the end of the game? She could have a minion or something do the same thing. She'd be untouchable, even to the end, as well as unforgettable. Say, I'm curious as to Dave's boss persona would be. Would like to see an update.

My boss weakness would be the equivalent of Sideshow Bob vs the rake. Throw an obstacle in my way, and instead of going round it, I would crash right into it. Grrrrrrr....

My BOSS would be a secret boss with only one weakness. An open battlefield with several segments that change as my health decreases, but if my opponent doesn't do a certain action or move they either lose the fight instantly on harder difficulties or on easier difficulties will restore my health to full prolonging the fight while still keeping the changes to the battlefield which keep frustrating and staggering the player. Then when the player defeats the secret boss the secret boss will become the main boss after the final boss. My BOSS character will instead of being a pain in the backside originally will be a actual challenge that tests top tier players with skill and tactics as well as preparation. When finally defeated the BOSS will reward the player with a choice of an instant kill weapon or instant heal armor that prevents them from dieing when they get to zero health, then disappears as if they were never there. The gift you choose will be in your inventory for your current game as well as every new playthrough on that profile like ME's trophies or achievements. The Secret Boss as well as the True Boss will then remark on your previous playthrough and the difference in your record time completing the game when fight them again.

I would be a twist villain/four stage, 2 hour final boss. My weakness would be elemental and change based on the form, but physical attacks wouldn't harm me. Then I come back in the sequel with no memory of who I was and become the protagonist.
