If I won say, 500 million. (im 15 by the way), I would put ALL of it, except for maybe 100k, into savings for when I turned 18. yeah, id buy a few things with that 100k, but for me, the MAXIMUM, I could spend on myself, right now, would be maybe 10k. possibly 20k, so then id have 80k to play around with for 3 years. for a teenager? thats a lot of money. once I turned 18, I would buy a 1000 square foot cabin in the woods, on a lake. Id bring everything from my old house that I wanted, (From before I was 18) into my new house, buy 3 beds. and invite 2 or three friends to live with me. Id buy all my friends gaming pc's, Id buy a really good, fast internet. Id buy a tv, and kitchen stuff. Id buy 4 kayaks, and id hang out with my best friends every single day. if I ever got married, id add an extension onto the house for me and her. (If we had kids Id add another two rooms.) (Basically id have like 10 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.) Id basically set me and a few friends for life. Id also put some money into charity and give a couple mil to my parents and siblings.

A person that isn't easily influenced, has strong resolve and is generally logical could navigate this situation. You would get to choose who you help etc. You could also choose to help family and only very close friends for example while setting boundaries. If any of them do not respect your boundaries you just cut them off that would be on them. This would be an easy way to prevent letting vultures prey on you ever.

As I've always said if I won that much money I'd do whatever the fuck I like. I'd give to charity yeah, I'd help out my friends and family, if someone came begging for money I'd probably help. I'd not buy a mansion or a super car or anything though. I'd live in a normal house with a decent car. I'd still work and live normally. Or drink myself to death
