Rhino is full on trash as it is rn, it only works if you get it to lvl 3 and put a tiger behind it and buff it to 30-30+ and melon it, just takes so much!! But also I think moving hippo to tier 5 would make it irrelevant cus boar is better and only 1 tier high

The reason he doesn't pick it is because it has no use later in the game compared to the units he always picks. Beaver, otter, fish, ant and in extreme cases even pig all provide more permanent buffs to the remaining units once you finally decide to get rid of them. The only other exception is the mosquito which you can decide to keep it till late game in the rare case you want it to destroy multiple melon armors

Re the Archive 81 discussion, I think you should watch Russian Doll. Really just because the first season is a study in how to do a season ender that's open to more, but still tells a complete story. There's the overarching thing that is not truly explained, but is kind of intended to be a mystery, but the tale of the interpersonal stuff happening in the show could end with season 1 and it would be a satisfying ending.
