He thought that 10,000 was low odds, but it's actually likely to happen fairly quickly. This is because the only way to roll the dice for say the 500th message is if the previous 499 messages didn't trigger it. We can find the expected number of messages required for 50/50 odds of the stream ending by solving the following equation: P(🔨)^x=0.5 where P(🔨) is the odds of the message resulting in a ban and the stream continuing. (1-0.0001)^x=0.5 (0.9999)^x=0.5 log_0.9999(0.5)=x x=ln(0.5)/ln(0.9999) If stream ended before they posted a total of 6931 messages, then they beat the odds.

I don't know why I ever rewatch this video. I'm like, "huh, this was a good video, I should watch it again for a good fun time." Fifteen minutes later and I have a splitting headache and need to lay down but I keep watching for some reason anyway.

oh my god, the last message "REMEMBER ME" as they jumped into the stream, closing their eyes, and remembering their life, every birthday, every christmas, the first date, the first child, everything they held value in their life, then in a blaze of glory they sacrificed themselves and ended the tyranny of this stream.

I entered this video with the same energy as a horror movie fan saying "well why don't they just NOT go into the house? How can they stretch out this premise for so long?" And was truly amazed at the cinematic genius I bore witness to

4:29 Yeah, so the bot raid ban failing was my fault lmfao. As Mord said later in that section of the clip, when Doug's bot is active, he crashes our mod view. I had *just* enough time to enable Emote Only, not knowing he was gonna try and sick the eliminator on them... and then he tried to sick the eliminator on them, which crashed my mod view for like 5 seconds before I could turn back off emote-only lmao

Twitch chat: (strikes against being banned for extreme and sudden changing rules by our local bear tyrant) DougDoug: Why is everyone striking? You're just going to cause a strained relationship between us... also '.' And 'strike' words are banned, now. No strikes! Me: *This place is a madhouse.* (Also the fact he banned his dad, too... and that ending. If that was the last episode, it'd make sense.)
