I always liked Evan's cooking videos. I had a bad motorcycle accident in 2008 and was pretty jacked at the time. The doctors in the ER said all my muscle development saved me from more serious injury or death. I almost lost my foot an had some severe fluid buildup in my head but made it out with a fused ankle and a two week hospital stay. So muscles can actually ave your life, it's not all just for looks 😉

Exactly 👏 there is so much hysteria around bodybuilding and steroids...demonized like we are just narcissists wanting to look good...but going to the gym daily and having muscle IS healthy! 🙌 It is normal! It's the way our body is meant to look!❤ We are surrounded by so many obese people in the media and society now who have normalized being unfit🙄

Great video. Evan always makes and is part of, great content. The biggest ..Whoa! from the video though, is when Steve said there’s pros out there cruising on 2gs of stuff a week! That’s soooo messed up! I couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable it would be to use 2gs on a blast, let alone that being default. That’s F’ed up. Great video however, I’ve been in the game 27 years. Always great to reminisce about the early 2000s days of bodybuilding forums, and see you guys healthy, happy, and still enjoying the lifestyle. Just being responsible and mature, as all dudes should be over 40. That’s really the cut off. That’s when you downsize, and can still use a bit, but get that body weight down under 250 for sure. (For most) I’ve dropped 60 pounds over the course of 1.5 years, maintaining 225lbs at 6’3. Healthy, happy, look really good, progressing in other physical activities. One door closes, but many can open, and many that are interesting and fun. Take care ❤️

I have suffered a bilateral quad rupture. Bones were also reported to be very dense, but tendons definitely were in bad shape. AAS do increase calcification which increases chance of rupture. These ruptures are what is known as a "frayed mop" rupture because the tendon ends up frayed at the breaking point. They have to trim this off, losing about a centimeter in length.

I got to meet Nasser in person face to face when he was guest posing back in the 2000's. He was super cool to talk to. My pops & i walked up to him after i was literally star struck seeing him in magazines and finally seeing him in person. He treated me and my pops with kindness and like family. Thats how laid back he was. The conversation evolved into if i was taking anything and i said yes. He asked what and how much which at that time i was taking 1500mg test and 750 deca and he said no nooo to be a pro you need four thousand if you wanna be pro I didnt get the chance to ask if he meant 4000 test with other or 4000mg collectively combined but ill never forget it
