1. write down distractions u have when trying to study 2. build attention span: start timer and stop when u start becoming unfocused time recorded should be starting length of study sessions - take breaks between intervals (do not sit at ur study space , use ur phone in those breaks) *** go into work mode at ur workspace complete each task (break into small chunks) and take short breaks in between 3. film urself studying 4. create a distraction free study space (no flamboyant deco etc) write goals and put them infront of u too 5. dont just read (make questions, underline important points, make summaries)

Another tip that really helped me is the 3 page rule . Basically when its one of those days where you really dont wanna study anything , this is rlly helpful ! So , you divide your book into 3 sections , you complete the first section and take a 5-10 minute break , then start studying the 2nd section and so on. But remember , as faye said do NOT use your phone during those breaks ! It will break your focus immediately ! I think that your brain really wants to take that break so you tend to study fast and more effectively . Just wanted to give another tip and help , if it worked for you im super glad !!

A little studying checklist from me to you 💕 💧Drink water! Your mind is more focused when it's hydrated 🌸 Ignore and eliminate any possible distractions. Focus on your work and remember that all of this is so worth it in the end! 🌱 Find your focusing point. My focusing point is listening to music. It helps me relax and just be in the moment with what I'm doing. What's yours? It could be lighting a candle or being outside! ✨ Take breaks. Your mind needs a rest every once in a while. I would recommend studying in blocks. So study for 30 minutes, and take a 5 minute break. Keep doing that until you feel comfortable to stop doing your work. 🦋 Don't stress. If you come into your work with a positive mindset, you will more likely succeed!

The reason why I daydream so much is either 1) I have ADHD (which I'm not diagnosed yet but I REALLY feel like I do) and 2) I'm a maladaptive daydreamer and whenever I daydream I get too focused on it that I couldn't track the time (especially when my daydream is so good that I don't want to stop). The worst one I had was 2 hours of simply daydreaming in my room lol. This video hits home. Thank you!

I'm 18 now, and I've always been pretty bad at sitting and alotting to time to studying because I always found it to be such a drag. Of course, now, I'm paying the price and I'm now doing my GCSEs for the 3rd time to fix my grades again. Every year I feel myself getting better, just barely, but this time I'm ready to have something to show for it. For me in the long term and for me in a week, I'm trying really hard to give her the present she deserves and the present I wish my past self could have provided me with now.

I think the quarantine is what has damaged me to a great extend because keeping up with the online lessons for seven hours straight is actually a lot harder than I thought. The distractions are too many and now I am not able to focus entirely even just for a few minutes. I blame myself too, I use my phone way too much as I am an editor and it has become 10 times harder for me to get away from it. Since I've realized that my school performance is not so good (in my point of view) I just needed some solutions because honestly I am desperate :'). Thank you so much for this video I watched it last night and I will try your methods, I will come back and let you know how it went since I have 4 exams coming up! :D

I was mindlessly scrolling through KZbin even though I was supposed to write, and Faye came in clutch. I normally don't lose focus because I'm pretty diligent, it's just that I sometimes have a hard time to get myself to start 😂 Once I'm doing something, I'm mostly in the zone, though!

Heeey I just came to say that this actually worked for me. Like honestly I am a person who can't study for 5 minutes and guess what I studied for 47 minutes straight. I recorded myself, I kept timer and I wrote down what was distracting me. It really really helped me. I hope you have a wonderful experience while trying these out too. And btw my room have no decoration at all. Just a curtain. So it made it less distracting. I have been doing it for a couple of months now

I found her channel when I was stressed and burdened .... When I searched up study tips I would mostly get those aesthetic things that would make me stress more as I was not able to achieve it ... But suddenly I found Faye and I realised it's absolutely not necessary to be aesthetic ... be simple .... She reduced my study stress a lot ... Like a lottttttttttttttttttttttttt .... Thankyou so much Faye ... 💜
