Try to put Sunline Machinegun cast 4,5lb on this beauty.Omg,it looks even better than the Presso with the same line. One of the most beautiful looking reels today.From the looks and the drag,hand down,but coming from Shimano,let’s say the good things outcome the bad ones.For me,design is just as important as the functionality,and this is the first reel in years that other just keep me asking what model is,and it looks very good

Have owned two FC 1000S since April. I love them....My pair are on the 7'0 Legend Elite Panfish from St. Croix.....Own 5 Exist FC1000S and feel the Airity is just as good in my opinion.......Good review as always.

@@ifishcatfish they are my second favorite rods, My G. Loomis TSR801-2 and 862-2 GLX are still my favorites.....The Legends are damn close though. I also recently picked up the St. Croix Eyecon ECS701LF after reading your old review and also checking out the handle in person. I like it alot and it is great paired up to an Exist FC.......

Such a good reel! I own the 3000s cxh size. Curious about the review! In my opinion it's a certate but lighter and more smooth. I just ordered my second one (2500sxh) Hands down to daiwa tho, they do create some beautiful reels!

for me Vanquish, but I have friends with both reels who prefer LA. I talked about that in detail in other videos. LA is smoother and quieter, but has more resistance, which is a turnoff for me. But some people don't even notice it.

that reel is it the LT FC from digitaka I got 2-2000S-P 2-2500S-XH 1-2500S 2-3000S-CXH I like to get the 2-4000S-CXH I wish they would bring out the 3000-4000 in LT FC in the Daiwa Lavias Airity LT FC I have the shimano stradic fl 1000-2500 I got rid of them and theses I really love them what do you think about them you like them in your opinion are they the same as the Daiwa presso reels I think they are but more bearings in the Daiwa Lavias LT

Daiwa does create really good looking reels. I've had several fishers walk up to me, asking about this one. In Europe they haven't heard of it yet, only through import atm.

to be honest with you, i didn't pay attention to casting distance, but didn't notice anything peculiar. With 2 lb line casting is always OK. Also i fish from boat and its different... i never really swing for the fences, like people do from the bank. I gently lob it 40-50 feet, and that's never a problem with any 2 lb line

Great work Ivan! I’m keen to hear your thoughts on the Airity v 20 Luvias LT. Essentially it’s an Exist LT without the anti reverse and a few bearings anyway! I’m not surprised you don’t like the resistance, I’ve also found that the new monocoque Daiwa reels have a higher resistance than the old design. My 15 Luvias still spins effortlessly compared to my Luvias Lt and Certate Lt. Also. When you do your review can you please include a video on your drag clicker tweak. Cheers
