a bit of a strategy... when fish is scattered i prefer swimbait. When i know where the fish is, and they are grouped, i prefer twitching, because it is slower and more irritating to the fish

Lots of truth here love your videos I just recently found your channel . I fished my bg1 today with trout magnet bison color on my new presso air rod I caught everything crappie bass and bluegill people couldn’t believe I was catching bass on a trout magnet lol I started off twitching wasn’t getting a lot of bites then I started just steady reeling and they were nailing it . Thanks for all the helpful info and excellent videos !

i haven't seen anything new or impressive in the new vanford. If they were the same price i would still get the new vanford, but i know the old vanfords are so cheap that its makes them a great deal. Also its easier to add bearings to the old one. On the new one they messed that up on purpose

nobody releases a new model of the same reel every year. There is only one daiwa regal. Watch my exceller 2024 review from a month ago. Thats what i think about the new Regal

When you use colored ester line do you use a clear fluoro leader or no?

yes, but not really because its colored. I use leader even when its clear, if its Ester.. too brittle for contact with fish
