Nice video Victor, wish I could fish there. Looks like a very fun place to fish.

i'm surprised there is nobody else here. Plenty of boats, but they all chase bass and catfish

Better for you. Ultralight fishing is the best, you can catch a big variety of fishes. Thanks for the reviews on the lures and jig heads

Victor, do you know if the Daiwa Presso limited has the same body for the 1025 and 2025c? Can the spools be interchangeable? Thanks
@ifishcatfish Жыл бұрын
@@davidung4054 yes, its same body. spools are interchangeable. But the new presso is half the price and just as good. The only advantage of old presso is it is more beautiful, and the drag SOUND is nicer. But its not worth double the price
@davidung4054 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Victor. I already own a Daiwa Presso limited 1025 size. I was just wondering if the 2025 size spool will fit.

New to your channel and loving your content! I noticed 2 notches on the jigs that you're using (2:21) . Did you add those or did they come like that. Also, what effect does it have, if any.
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
maybe 12:50 is a better example. They come like that. However i have since created my own jigs which have a flat spot there as well. It makes the jig the opposite of aerodynamic, so when you try to twitch it it has a lot of water resistance. For tiny ultralight jigs like these this increases your ability to feel the jig during the twitching. Improves the sensitivity. Go to ifishtackle.com and u will see the 3D images from my jigs and u will understand. And while you are there, try the 1.25#10 and 1.5#10, both in black color.

How would you think the ticklerZ would work for yellow perch?
@ifishcatfish Жыл бұрын
sub optimal. Unless the perch is big or in big schools and competitive. I would use something thinner

I love that "crawfish" color as well. In your opinion what side of the bait is the top, the black or the reddish side?
@ifishcatfish Жыл бұрын
black is always top, on any bait, even on hard lures. That's how nature camouflages animals. If you look at a fish from the top, the back is black, and it blends with the black bottom. If you look at a fish from underneath and see the belly, the belly is usually white, because when u look at the surface of the lake from the bottom, the surface looks white. All of this is just theoretical. In practice i don't think it makes much difference how u put it on... But I still put the black on top, just so I enjoy looking at it : )

you mean it looks like im selling the Zman ? : ) I have to watch it. I was very harsh on the unboxing, and my point in this video is that somehow they work anyway...

Always enjoy your videos and fishing cometary. I though you were selling the Rosewood rod? Is it the 1.8m ultralight? And have you used any of the lures Rosewood sells on Amazon? Thanks again for great ultralight content.

i was never selling it. It was a Giveaway TWICE. But the winner didn't want it. So i stopped trying to give it away, since it looks bad : )

I finally let a 4 lb bass break my 7’ Shakespeare Microlite rod (have 3 other shorter one) so need to replace it.
@ifishcatfish Жыл бұрын
maybe one day... i enjoy it now, just the same way I enjoy my cheap presso rods and my cheap legalis..
@ifishcatfish Жыл бұрын
you gota be gentle with a 4 lb bass... you can't just horse it. Even then, think about transportation damage. Most often tiny damage occurs during transportation, and then it snaps in the fish fight
