Whats the diffrent between STM32FTX2 and IFLIGHT_F722_TWING (IFRC)? I was flashing my F7 TwinG with STM32FTX2 and it works.

Not sure, I also thought it would be the same or similar when I was having trouble getting mine to arm, so I flashed the STM32FTX2. Didn't hurt anything, but it didn't work at all either, it must be a much older target, all the boxes to tick on the configurator were in wrong place or missing, and it gave 0 uarts under ports tab, just the MSP slider, and you don't want to turn that off.

Sorry for the late reply. Not been on KZbin in a while. Having a break. The biggest difference is that. The STM32F7X2 hex is a base Hex file with No configuration set up. That's fine if you are using a factory Dump to program it after the flash.. But the "IFLIGHT F722 TWIN G" is a Hex with a pre set configuration.. Once you flash it, and reconnect it to Betaflight, you will be prompted to Apply Presets.. (or custom configuration) you should always apply this... Then do your normal set up. The STM32F7X2. As I said is more of a Base File for manufacturers of F722 boards to use when programming and mapping pins etc.. It contains the core elements, but it doesn't actually have anything programmed and set up or mapped etc.. If this makes sense. You'll notice with the STM32F7X2 flash. That absolutely nothing will work.. No Gyro etc. Motors.. Nothing. Unless you use the CLI and add a dump file for the specific firmware flash ie BF4.1.2.. or BF4.2. DO NOT USE a BF4.1.2.. Dump on say a BF4.1.3.. ETC. you can only use DIFF all between firmware versions. Not a dump.

My bnf came with a frsky xm+ reciver but going to use the DJI tx.. will this work for me? Sorry I'm brand new to the hobby and confused! Ha!

If you have xm+ bind and fly. You need to de solder the receiver from the flight controller and get a new wiring harness for the Air Unit to the flight controller for the DJI controller to work. Message me on Facebook if you need more help. 👍facebook.com/SKYcamNI

I think banggood sent me a pnp not bnf 4 wires off the airunit red black white gray....should be 6 ...yellow sbus and black ground can I just by a plug

Check the spares, did the cable not come with it? It should have done. But yes a new cable is probably the best way.

now i have solved the problem it runs on sbus almost and the remote control is recognized in betaflight. now i have the problem that my motors can neither be controlled by betaflight nor by remote control ... even if i plug in lipo they do not initialize and do not beep maybe someone has an idea what that could be? best regards stefan

I have a dc3 bnf with the mini f7 twin g, I changed the target from whatever they had on it to the correct target for the fc according to their website. Now I want to tune it for the best on bf 4.1, but I’m confused as to how I should set up my dshot and such. Should I run dshot 300 with 4K 4K values like everyone else? Or should the twin gyro and f7 board be able to handle more? Thanks!

I got the iflight dc5 for DJI. And I’m having a real hassle getting it set up. It comes with the - SucceX-D F7 Stack (50A 4-in-1 ESC) Flight controller. All the DJI gear is updated, and linked up (green lights etc) But the air unit isn’t relaying the controllers input. Can’t fathom the issue at all. Any ideas? Is it the ports that are incorrect?

Ergoproxy turning on the SBUS in the goggles device menu was part of the initial issue. Have you done that bit yet?

yes, I set that to SBUS FAST i had the problem before then i used richards dump file and then it worked , but now I have a new fc with version 4.1.4 and I don't dare to use the old version 4.1.3 but richard must have set something different in betaflight than me

Ergoproxy hmmmm. Trying to think what other hurdles I had. Once I had updated all firmware, synced DJI gear and activated it with DJI then did the sbus, the rest was ok. I think. Will post if I remember anything else.

Hi everyone, My flight controller has red light permanently on and I have no idea why. Usb or battery power doesn't matter. It's brand new came today. I flahed latest firmware betaflight 4.2 but no change. Everything seems to work. I can arm and spin motors, all axis seem to be ok. Dji unit is sending video to goggles. I haven't tried flying yet cause I'm bit worried. Anyone has an idea why the red light is still on? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes if can. But you would be better with the Normal SucceX F7 twin G, as the UARTS are free to solder onto, whereas this D version has a plug using UARTS 1 and 2 specifically for the DJI AIR UNIT.

Did you try press & hold the boot button on the FC and then connect the USB? Are you running Windows 10?? You might need to change Windows settings. Search for "Windows 10 Betaflight DFU mode not working" 👍

I have the iflight F7 DJI twin G SucceX D whateva lol....being a noob ive recently tried to update the firmware without backing up. when Ive checked betaflight after the Uart 2 is tuned on for some reason ? not sure if this is for a setting or something on the board or can just turn it off??Is this now ready to start setting up my channels etc or do i have to load any other software or config files to it? be grateful for any help
