It was likely tumbling media for when they polished the aluminum motor parts.

Good content man. I’ve been wondering about those motors.
@DivergentDrones3 жыл бұрын
The spec sheet looks like they are cinewhoop motors, so a 3” or 3.5” prop wouldn’t pull as many amps, but I had to try them on 6S with a 5” prop. They didn’t disappoint.
@406fpv97 ай бұрын
Those motors are only meant to be used on 6s for a 3 or 3.5 inch cinewhoop not a 5 inch quad. Only 4s on a 5 inch

Great review on the motor Sir. Would it be efficient on the Cinelog35 quad?
@DivergentDrones2 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen motors as high as 2800kv on 6s for the 3.5” prop so, yeah. I’d try it.

y use a 30amp esc? 65a & 100a is what i use, def gives you room for pretty much anything ridiculous u want motor wise
@jaysonrees7385 ай бұрын
You realize that's 30A per motor, right? A 65A 4-in-1 is capable of pushing 260A in total.

you can change the hover point with subtrim in center only mode

What Flight Controller Software are you running? Betaflight, INav, Emu Flight, etc?

@@DivergentDrones i'm using betaflight, but this is an OpenTx/EdgeTx setting

2205 2300kv vs the 3200 verson what really is the difference which one should i purchase ?
@DivergentDrones2 жыл бұрын
IFlight is putting these motors on their 3” and 3.5” cinewhoops. I flew it on a lightweight 5” (AUW 400g). I think if you want a heavy 4” or lighter 5” you could run the 2300kv on 6s. The 3200kv would be the 4s version for the same props.
@sidewaysfpv58332 жыл бұрын
Do u thing these could be ideal on the micro apex with 5 inch arms
@DivergentDrones2 жыл бұрын
If your AUW is under 400g sure, I’d say give it a shot.
@outboxfpv43603 жыл бұрын
I bought these iflight motors for 3 in cine whoop hope its not over kill?
@DivergentDrones3 жыл бұрын
I think that’s what they were designed for, they just also work well on a lightweight 4” and 5” quad as well.
@outboxfpv43603 жыл бұрын
How much flight time did u get?
@DivergentDrones3 жыл бұрын
I had to go back to the DVR, it looks like 3:15 with a 4s 1300mah doing mixed flight, and 3:45 with a 6s 1050mah doing mixed flight. That’s landing at 3.7V, I don’t push to 3.5V, I don’t like to buy batteries. I fly a battery until I crash so hard that it’s unflyable.

I'm going to try these on my Apex 4" with a SpeedyBee 20x20 30a ESC. 😁

I'm looking at doing the same thing. How'd it go for you?
@MadDragon755 ай бұрын
@@jaysonrees738 I still have them on my apex. They're beautiful on a 4" I haven't tried them on anything else. I just packed it up and quit flying about 6 months ago. Who knows.. I might start again. 🤷🏻♂️

Can I use this on my recon 5
@DivergentDrones3 жыл бұрын
They are 12x12 mounting so yes, but you’ll lose a little efficiency because of the taller motor.

40A current draw is nothing.. that's 10A per motor.. You don't need a 40A esc that can handle 160A of total constant current, for 10A per motor...
@DivergentDrones2 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, I wonder how accurate that is now that you say that. On my standard 5” quads, I don’t see anything above 50A
