Since you have an upper line for your shutoff switch, might have beeen benificial to install on that line to allow the fluid to go straight into the drip pan then exit through the out line. OR adjust the fluid to a more frequant schedule of injection. I would have liked to see you reasemble the pipes without blowing them clear first. Then run the last amount of extream fluid to see if it would remove loosen any of the gell-slim. Would have been an interesting test.

Hitting the clogge running backwards instead of free flowing and coming out bec the pvc isn't glued but gotta check it so can't glue it, refill ur bottle with vinegar in the bottle, also cut out as many elbows as possible that will help, the bottle of solution isn't strong enough even at that mix, u need stronger that cuts though the jelly like shit vinegar will do that been there done that

Thank you for this review. My air handler is in the garage and in the summer it gets incredibly hot. We are in SE FL. My ac guys just put a new drain line in that just runs from the air handler to the front of the garage - a straight shot. The old one went under the slab and out the side of the house and has been there probably since the house was built in the mid 70's. We were constantly having problems. I just want an extra insurance policy and thought this might help. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Thank you again for taking the time to help others.

Same situation and location. The air handler should never be in the garage in SE FL. I installed the iFLO in the summer. I was blowing out the lines every 2 weeks in peak AC season. What I found is the location of the nozzle at the junction of the pan and the drain outlet was that the solution really didn't treat the pan before draining out. My drain line was relatively clear but the pan remained full of snot causing an overflow. I ended up drilling out the back of the unit farthest from the drain and ran the iFlo tube through a grommet at that location. The unit doesn't run as much now but I'm hoping that my change will reduce the problem come summer. We'll see...

@@dreamcenter56 After watching the videos on placement of the tube I was actually wondering if any would get into the pan or if it would all just flow out of the drain. I haven't bought the kit yet, but now I will. Your solution seems like a good idea to make sure the product gets into the pan where the snot is. Thanks for the tip!!

@@lindaianace7559 It barely gets into the pan, especially if the AC is running and draining when the iFlo dispenses.

Just installed my iFlo two weeks ago. My issue with install was the weight of sending unit and bottle was too great to hold onto the air handler with the 3M tape they jnclude with holder. Had to Jerry rig it up in attic with cable ties. Here’s hoping that the solution helps keep the condensate line clear.

I had the iflo pro installed. The guy said if you have aluminum coils it’s a real issue and doesn’t work great. He also said the home units they sell at HD are not as good as the pro because the pro is hardwired and it goes into the pan not the lines

Should try getting some uvc lights and put 3 or 4 13watt bulbs in the coil to see if you can kill the bacteria before it starts

I have the UV lights and it does NOT deter the growth. It might kill the mold, but not that slimy snot stuff.

@ try odoban, its cheap disinfectant that uses quants antibacterials and has many pleasant smells to choose from. It can be used directly on the coils because there is no strong acids or bases used. I added a funnel that pipes the fluid behind the coil directly to the drain pan

Appreciate the follow up honest review. That said, I’ll pass and keep using my Mighty Pump once a month and suck the crap out of the line. Takes all of 5 minutes!

You mentioned a "Mighty Pump". Is this a specific product you use and if so, can you provide a link to it?
