Same goes in arabic ‘numar’ is for size or car plates and phones, if not it is رقم (rakam)

I think u don't understand. ,,Numer" mean a number with one digit, like 0; 1; 2; 3 and so going on. ,,Liczba" mean all number, and the with one digit, and even these with 100, ,,liczba" means just all numbers that exist, for example 4; 73; 835; 1604 and so going on

generally "liczba" = quantity, "numer" = order of smth, both are used quite often, just have different meaning
