2 ways: The easy but impractical method, is to hold down Shift Alt and use the arrow keys to offset your crosshair. The better solution is to make 2 versions of a PNG file crosshair (i believe GIMPshop is the best free option for this). The first version you make perfectly centered, and the other one you offset by a certain amount of pixels to the right or left. To find out how many pixels you need to offset it by, you can first try the "easy/impractical" method (described above), which i BELIEVE will move the crosshair one pixel at a time. Once you have the crosshair aligned perfectly for the bow, you can go to the "position" tab/screen in the Crosshair X window to see how many pixels it is offset by. Once your crosshair is offset in the photo editing software, just save it and load it into Crosshair X, and assign shortcuts to both the "centered" and the "offset" versions of your crosshair, so you can switch back and forth relatively quickly in game. If you get in the habit of always having your bow and regular weapons on different numbers on your hotbar, you can assign these numbers as the shortcuts for the centered and offset versions.

Does this only work when you play on your native resolution? I play most games on 1920x1080 and some even lower while my native resolution is 2560x1440.. Problem is in older games like Counterstrike 1.6 the crosshair doesn't show up.. And in other games that I play it's impossible to get centered. It just disappears once I get remotely close to the center of my screen

@@theorangedawn2644 All that shit went out the window with the influx of cross-platform shooters we now have. People have monitors with built-in crosshair overlays, and controllers have aim-assist. This doesn't hook in or alter the game files in any way, and the user still has to aim just like they did before. Not much different than having a visual, fps edge with a better GPU or a higher refresh rate monitor. I mean, they now allow inputs that literally ASSIST YOUR AIM, so by that measure this is significantly less advantageous or game-breaking than that mechanic. It's best to assume everyone else puts a dot or marker on their screen and just level the playing field.

It doesnt matter if it's cheating or not, since every top player or streamer already use this crosshair on their gaming monitors. And since this can't be detected, game devs MUST just add option so everyone can turn on/off crosshair if they like. And since idiots in facepunch refuse to do it and refuse to punish top streamers who use crosshairs in their monitors, then everyone can and should use this crosshairs too.
