IFR to Pittsfield in a Saratoga II TC GPS 26 approach

Flew up to visit the wives at the Canyon Ranch for dinner. 15 minutes from the airport. Filed as the ceiling was OVC. As we passed the initial fix though I could see the airport so was able to cancel IFR .

Pipers are nice . Never flown a Saratoga , just the archer but I’m sure they are steady .. hope to get checked out on the sr22 soon at FRG

Dr. Pilot did sr20 transition , the 22 is much the same except a lot more power so it requires a few hours of training with a Cirrus instructor

Aye, the last iteration of the turbocharged Saratoga, i.e. PA-32R-301T Saratoga II TC. That's my dream airplane, I currently fly the PA-28-151 to 181 planes at my flight school.
