I’m still completely confused as to how they’re releasing new content related to burn gameplay, especially so considering how they handled necrosis. They literally released this module and warmy WAY before bobbing which will never make sense to me

​@@villgernumber1132nor really they both rely on arts damage to proc 🔥 and get extra damage during 🔥 so Ifrit gives the shred they both need, but I think it's more of a case of S2 to win + Viv instead of them tag teaming a single opponent.

From what I'm seeing, unless you have her in line to DMG a boss or some super tanky mofo, like Gundams, that's being held by a Defender or a Guard, her old mod is better.

Welp, atleast her res shred is OP AF for Reclamation Algorithm, as the bosses are tanky AF. she can easily get the boss from 100 res to 25 res while her s3 and burn are active. Res goes from 25 to 20 if you're using logos as well.

Ok so basically: Mod delta is much worse, UNLESS you manage to hold the enemy in range for 6 business days so burn procs (if they somehow still haven't died from base Ifrit damage). The only way this gets fixed is if they release a burn version of Arturia, no way around it.

the damage conversion between her attack and the burn damage is only 8% makes it takes too long to trigger the burst effect, i believe it wont work to any other operators who have lower attack stats than her, and her attack speed also is too slow to maximize the burst effect on her own except using S3..... 😢

She also has the dumb thing where if you don't time her properly, burn procs near the end of S3 and she gets very little bonus ele dmg during the burn.

Honestly, I don't think it's a fair comparison at all. The fact that her skills aren't M3 makes a big difference to how the module affect them due to how the RES calculations or SP generation will interact with all the effects happening. I do appreciate that you made a comparison (since I've not seen any yet), but this can't be used to decide which module is better unless someone wants to invest in only 1 module for Ifrit but also doesn't want to master either skill.

It makes little relative difference since her ele buildup is tied to % of arts dealt. That is, if she deals 6k to kill an enemy, she will literally never proc burn before the enemy is dead. On Patriot, somehow that makes the comparison even less favorable, as her burn fallout will proc at the end of first S3 rather than start of second S3, meaning she loses out on a lot of ele dmg.

If Ifrit is bad at burn but Vivi is good at it, then it doesn't really make a difference. Edit: oh, the bonus elemental damage. Yeah okay, that might do it!

@@xtranathor8143 The whole issue with Burn is taking too long to trigger it, having both together helps both of them trigger faster then get their bonus damage, as well as Ifrit lowering the RES has perfect synergy with Vivi, so they give each other what the other needs, it will be the classic Surtr + Ifrit S3 for RES Debuff but on steroids

Conclusion : Blast caster have low damage output, debuff RES only make her overkilled the enemies. But Delta module is still better for damaging than X module. But if you need ifrit as debuffer, X module is better for better skill cycle.

HG is so backwards with making Necrosis and them Burn lol. Necrosis lasts longer deals more damage and has much better damage dealers, Burn cant be maken great use of as it lasts much shorter and only proper damage dealer regarding it gains its value from the RES reduction than the burn and elemental dmg itself which is Viviana and she is single target...

Yeah Ifrit never had an issue with high res so it doesn't do much for her ngl. She just kills them before it procs it and even with her s3, proccing is hard for her. Not to mention it's awful with s2 too and that's the skill most people use.

Tbh DMG is not that big of an issue for her. It's her long setup and inconsistent shield is. Compared Tu Surtr where you just wait few seconds then start bonking them

Vivi already procs fine on S3 and with no module Ifrit saves her from those she can't. I already have X but i can't image getting Y unless we get some good burn support to balance Logoat, Virtuosa, or even Eben. You cant proc multiple elements on a single target, so unless your using them to cover downtimes or on different parts of the map building multiple elements is kind of a waste. Also Ifrit has res shred so she helps our Nec casters on either module, because it's based on % of damage.

@@IrvineTheHunter I have Viviana and I use her with S2, cause she becomes kind of art centurion. Just put Liskarm behind her and u have strong line. But I thought Viviana and Ifrit will have a good synergy. Cause Ifrit will reduce RES of enemies for each of them. But Viviana will help Ifrit to fill faster elemental damage round through a lot of fast attacks. P.S. I'm so sorry if I made any grammar mistakes, but English is not my native language :(
