Cherry blossom is amazing to look at! Japan has a strong influence in Taiwan's sakura both from the Japanese colonizing history and the modern popular culture. A century ago the Japanese colonizer brought sakura trees from Japan to Taiwan. And nowadays the Japanese popular culture influence Taiwan very much also has the Taiwanese people love seeing cherry blossom. Travel to Japan to see cheery blossom has been one of the most popular travel plan for Taiwanese people. And for those didn't travel, having it at home is a great treat. But it is not that common to have sakura tree in Taiwan due to the warmer climate. So the sakura trees are mostly in the mountains where the climate is cooler. It's hard to have the scale of cheery blossom seen in Japanese cities in Taiwan. 🌸🌸

Those awesome trees are exploding here in Philly! More than DC. 7/11! Wawa needs to expand to Taiwan. “Everybody here is so happy…I am loving this.” If only we could experience more moments like that. Truth…what is so spectacular can sometimes be so fleetingly fast. “Congratulate the temporary. Go barefoot in the wet grass.” - Al McGuire AnonyMommy would go off in that lily field! But not that sulfur stench. Though the views are nuts! That mist is so amazing. Reminds us of the West Virginia mountains in summer.

Oh that sounds lovely!! There is a chance that some may be in bloom, but it may be a but early in the year!! You could try googling about it when the season gets closer! Lots of websites map the approximate blooming predictions for that year!

Hi! We visited the entire month of March! This video in particular was filmed the 7th and 13th I believe? But cherry blossom blooming varies year to year depending on a lot of outside factors - weather, light, temperature, etc. Definitely see if you can get a prediction map up when planning your trip!

Hi!! Thank you so much! So happy you enjoyed it! For music we primarily use Epidemic Sound! I’d definitely recommend them. :) On occasion we also use Envato Elements too - I think this video has 1 or 2 songs from them. They have a wider variety of world music, but it’s not as good and their copyright system is annoying!! Hope that helps!! Are you making videos as well??

@@IfWeGoTo Thanks so much. :) Yes, we started making short videos last winter while we were in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. This winter we're going to be travelling through many countries in Asia, including Taiwan, and we thought that the music you used fit very well. :)
