honestly Iga was the underdog before the match began I think many people ddint think or expect Iga would win because she hasn't been playing her best form lately. Even myself (I'm igas big fan) ddint expect she would win. In the previous match press conference I commented "hopefully Iga finds her level of tennis that she played during her streak in the finals" and that exactly happened ... Iga served lot better and very minimal forehand errors unlike her previous matches. Igas mentality is growing exactly like a true champion even not playing her best she still got through semis and in finals she was able to find her level of tennis. And not to forget she's only 21. Its really commendable to see her mad skills and most importantly her mentality. Truly worthy no 1 player.

In answering the questions Iga shows great maturity for her age, knows herself well, and she is still only 21. It has been a while since the last time we had a 21-year-old male or female winning 3 Grand Slams. In recent years we have had a few very talented female players starting what looked like very promising careers (winning 2, or even 4 Grand Slams), only to start later to lose focus (o to retire early). I like Iga, and wish her well, and do hope that she will continue her focus on her career, never lose her drive to compete, and keep improving and winning more titles and Grand Slams.

@@bartomiejczado7952 You have to ask yourself, do I want to win when the pressure is really on? At this point, I think Ons doesn’t want to win, she wants to enjoy herself.
