Aryna Sabalenka should’ve been number 1 for two ocassions already now (first in FO and second time in Wimbledon). Even if Sabalenka gets to no. 1 which I think she would eventually, I feel like it’ll be very shortlived and will be overtaken quickly by other players.

Danielle is really back in form, today she played like in her best days... Only Ostapenko can play as fast as her, Iga in the second set couldn't do anything with Danielle's blitzkrieg... She's able to make a great run at the US Open. .. That was probably Danielle's first match where she didn't shout "c'mon"and and no fist pumping even once... very strange :)

Iga remains unbeatable at the baseline. The only way to beat her is to shorten the rallies by being aggressive side to side, attacking every opportunity at the net. Collins was successful in executing these in the 2nd set but lacks consistency. I surely miss Justine Henin's attacking style which is not found in today's womens games.

I have seen that Iga - at the 2020 French Open, the 2022 Miami Open and the 2022 French Open just to name a few examples. I have seen her play with more tenacity across multiple sets and with more confidence than this. She is still great, no doubt, but she's just making too many errors and I've seen her play better.

Pretty horrific highlights, I'm trying to see the match shortened here, the best bits but when you don't show any set points until match point, like Swiatek goes from getting broken at 5-1 to mysteriously being a set and a break up at 6-3 1-0 and then break point up at 4-4 to the next set break point at 0-1 or whatever, just bizarre

Yes, Iga broke serve three times in the first 5 service games of Collins, and we did not get shown even ONE point won by Iga in those games! They showed more winning points by Collins!
