use silver wire made of nichrome which is innert red colour for lithium yellow colour for sodium lilac (pink) for potassium brick red for calcium ca2+ green for copper cu2+ hydrochloric acid removes any solid on the wire ,you will hear a hissing sound

Maybe you should have changed the HCl solution that you dipped the nichrome wire in, where ou said `lilac` flame colour for potassium but it was NOT lilac at all. No precautions taken seriously and you were not doing properly. 3/10 u could do better but still thanks for uploading
