I think the video was quite a funny metaphor, dissing the people involved in Toddlers and Tiaras. Dressing up, going to the club with a stack of hundreds and a bunch of fifties. Pageant mothers treat it like it's the murder business. Life is a fucking pageant that some people take way too seriously. This video was pretty metaphorical.

Most people don't even know what a metaphor is, so good luck getting them to try and look deeper than the surface of a music video.

Never let anyone bring you down or tell you, you aren't cool or that you aren't loved or wanted. There is always someone who loves you, and everyone is always going to have a different journey to venture, don't let yours be dim. All you gotta do is shine bright in your own colors.

It's funny that so many people are focusing on Iggy's southern drawl & saying it's fake. She's been in the States since she was 16 and spent most of her living in Southern states and hanging around people that happen to speak that way. Just because she's white and Australian, there is a lot of hate. Shame that only in America that racism is alive and well but in other parts of the world, Hip Hop is a freedom of expression that is shared by many and all races and that's what Afrika Bambaataa and the founding fathers of Hip Hop wanted to happen. Just respect the origins and Iggy definitely does.
@monkeymaker200610 жыл бұрын
Watch an interview with her then tell me it's still legit. Do your research homie, she's only been in the states for a few years. I've been here 6+ years and haven't lost my accent. I would never rap with an American accent, I'm not American.
@n88nick5210 жыл бұрын
Well why when she talks she sounds like the most Australian White girl you've ever heard in life? Then she raps sounding like some made up Black girl voice from the down south USA? lol. This shit is fake, she sounds like a clown! Like this bitch takes "Black Face" to a whole other level. This is the 2014 version.

Obviously some of you don't understand the message of this video: it's called "murda bizness" about show business; i.e. Singers, rappers, models, and reality shows like toddlers and tiaras which is about little girls and boys competing in pageants. She's making fun of the pageant world in the video, the children in it were obviously cast so their parents were ok with all the cursing and things like that, I'm sure they knew that going into the auditions. Think about it before you post hate.

Why do people hate on Iggy Azalea just because she's a white female rapper? She's unique. She talks like that not only because it's part of rap, she actually sounds that way in real life! She's been around people who talk that way and been practicing to talk that way for raps for years! She's a white female rapper, and there aren't many of those. She's not trying to be fake, she was bullied when she was younger for being different, and she grew to love rap and want to be a rapper. She has real passion for what she does. She's a perfectly fine rapper and people just hate in her because she IS different.
@optic_assassin46yes4710 жыл бұрын
It's not because she's white at all.Thats Iggy 's fans using the race card because they can't handle the fact that she's crap.She can't rap sing or dance.People hate her because of her lack of talent not because she's white.How many people have you heard say they hate her because she's white.Gtfoh stop playing the race card.Just because you can't handle the fact that people think your favourite rapper sucks

Maybe Iggy won't be a music genius or even one of the best rapper of all times, but I think she has its unique style and she uses music in a totally radical way, she exposes the raw truth such as it is... already does not care what kind of feelings has to hurt, she just does it; I love the fact that she is white and she can rap as a black one; I know that she idolizes NIcki, she's one of the inspirational people for Iggy, and for your info, they are not enemies, they are just in the same shit business where they have to be; and if someone could understand all his lyrics, you will understand the message that she wants to express ... like in Murda Bizness.- it is the whole truth, not only on music industry, y'all know, all around the world your job, your family , your world, we are actually in the business murda everyday, so... I admire,I love and listen to music of The Beatles, KISS, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, MJ, Pink Floyd, Queen, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Brown and I can tell you that her music i'ts great, I like Iggy, kill me for that...

@angel3333333310 жыл бұрын
You guys call this a "bad video " yet you fail to understand the genius behind the video itself which is imitating toddlers and tiaras that millions of you have no problem watching on a daily basis to pass the time away but have issue with a video which portrays the show that's not actually real unlike toddlers and tiara. Iggy is simply playing these beauty pageant crazed mothers that are growing so rampantly trying to live vicariously through their children because they never got the chance to do the same thing themselves, her lyrics saying "murder business" is referring to the beauty pageant world/ industry because it's a metaphor describing what it's really like. People who make a killing ( figuratively) $$$ out of millions spent on beautifying little girls, makeup, hair,wigs, fake teeth, dresses, props, money in coaching spent to win these things. She's making a mockery out of it through music because musics always been a way to sent out a message, if you find her hair and makeup ridiculous it's because she is portraying the extravagant pageantry lifestyle .. Hello ... Wake up people !!!
