I got to see AND MEET! Jim in 2007. He was one of the most humble and down to earth guys you'd ever want to meet. I also got to meet Gary Numan and Eric Bloom of Blue Oyster Cult. They were just the same. God bless them, every one.

Nugtroen this dude has immensely high drive and will power, it’s evident from watching and listening to him. it’s also evident he is dense and has an average intelligence (i’ve just watched several videos from over time from him). He’s a little bit slow and he knows it.

Beautiful when a son or daughter talks about parents showing affection. Maybe, all the madness could be overcome due to his connection with their love. Bowie and Iggy shared creativity and good hearts, in my opinion, that's why they may have gotten along so well.

it's a shame there is so little atention on iggy's 77-83 period. he had the best band's then, like the 78 tour with sonic randezvous, and all the other... well san franisco 81 is a great example. that was a totaly diferrent demension. he was 34 then.) ppd is good for 69 .

I think that his latest album will be his last. Besides this interview I remember reading an article about him, where Iggy Pop mentioned that he believed that his latest album would be his last. I hope that´s not true, but Iggy Pop is a cool man and he has influenced many artists. :)

I like his comment about all the "nay sayers" in his life, and how he told himself that he can succeed it this...............I remember back in my late teens and 20's, there were so many people that were nay sayers to me..............I tuned them out.........and just did my thing, trying to do it the best that I could............I've learned never to listen to nay sayers........believe in yourself, and just tune out the negativity..............also, he love the reverence that he gives his mom and dad........he's lucky he had all their support

In the 50s there wasn't an old trailer or an old trailer park. Everything was new, temporary, and almost disposable. Trailers and their parks were made to be transitional, it's just that the rich minority who own the government needs the majority to be poor and dumb to pay all their bills.
