I was so fortunate to see Iggy twice. Once in Toronto and got on stage with the rest of the mosh pit. He invited us. Once at Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan he opened for the Stones. He was practically booed off. Played 2 songs said "fk u" and left. People didn't appreciate a great artist.

Iggy and Dave wrote China Girl in 1977 and it was released on Lust for Life in the same year (an amazing year for David Bowie). So, this is the original arrangement and Bowie’s was the cover.
