The more I play it the more space marine 2 grows on me. And I’m not even a fan of 40k. The only other exposure I have is the total war series. But SM2 is just utterly badass, intense and satisfying.

it's fine IGN and kotaku have both become so irrelevant they need to rely on drama baiting to keep afloat no1 actually takes them seriously not even themselves. If people didn't love drama so much much both of them would've died years ago.

They still have more "power" than they should. For people like us, who know they are trash outlets that fabricate stuff, and who know about stuff like Sweet Baby Inc, etc, it's easy to dismiss them. But then there's this entire "other side" of the gaming community who don't know half of wtf is going on. 😅 And so for those people, when they see a clickbait title calling a game or studio or whatever controversial, they believe it. And then there's also the effect of things spreading like wildfire. Remember it was IGN who first mistranslated comments from Black Myth Wukong's devs, and caused dozens more articles to be pushed into the mainstream calling the game, the studio and the fans racist and sexist. They're a complete joke and I'll always treat them as such but the push for awareness of the fact of how much of a joke they are definitely needs to continue.

In my country it doesn't matter what is said more than who said it! IGN and Kotaku are nothing therefore it doesn't matter what they say. All they can do is suffocate while shouting at a screen no one is listening. If both companies dissolve tomorrow no one will cry...

Sorry but what triple A game has ever tried to turn you into a right winger and I'm not talking indie games or meme games, I mean something done by a major developer. The politics being shoved into entertainment is being done by one side and more specifically the extremist side of that particular side. By equivocating that its even possible for a game to turn you into a "righty" your giving cover to the woke extremists. By saying both sides you make it appear that the woke are doing exactly what their political opponents are doing if only given the opportunity. Your on the right track but your causing incidental friendly fire without realizing it. What I mean is to get the woke to stop skull fucking our entertainment you have to concentrate your fire on them because they have a nearly insurmountable advantage over consumer's, power and money. Just a thought I had but otherwise, this video is on point and well made, good job i'll subscribe and be interested to see what you make next.

Thanks for the feedback. When I bring that up in regards to the game "not being woke nor anti-woke" and "not turning you into a righty or a lefty", I am trying to dismount the notion that videogames that DO NOT inject ideological bullsh*t into them are "right wing" or "anti-woke". Not trying to claim that there are games that have done it or try to do it. Because that seems to be the type of sh*t that they're claiming, and likely to start attacking with every time that a game comes out that tries to stay away from ANY political ideology injections. Which is gonna be pretty bad if it becomes a thing, not every game is as highly anticipated as Wukong was, some may be very damaged by this kind of thing. I talk a bit more about this in my Black Myth Wukong video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZmnXpWga7qtfNk) and my DEI video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqK6Y3yPhpZggdU) And in order to not repeat myself too much (and to try and keep videos shorter so that they're more digestible), I try not to "over-develop" a topic. But I'll keep this in mind going forward and double check if I'm not potentially misrepresenting a point. I have to say though, I'm always going to call out unfairness when I see it, I want woke ideologies to stop negatively affecting media and society as a whole, but if I ever see something being misrepresented from "anti-woke" channels (like a game being called "woke" and "DEI" when I believe it's not) I will call it out and I won't see it as friendly fire at all. Because I believe that what unmade these ideologies to begin with was the left's unwillingness to call out when their own people went too far. Their failure to moderate themselves and just being complacent even when crazy sh*t was being said and suggested. And I won't be doing the same kind of mistake here 😄 And I also believe the only reason we're finally seeing a shift, is because we're on the side of reason and common sense. Losing that, we'll also lose credibility.

Now ask the devs what they think of their CEO

Huh? They gave it an 8 which is pretty good. The review didn't talk about politics at all.
@TheDezembro2 ай бұрын
It's in the video. They just misinterpreted a statement from a director trying to bait him further and paint him in a bad light like they did to Black Myth Wukong's devs. Dot Esports also gave Black Myth Wukong an 8 and that didn't stop them from writing an article completely smearing the game, its developers and its players. While in the process also exposing themselves for the fact that they didn't even play the game before reviewing it. 😂 guy said he reviewd it, and gave it an 8, and in a different statement he let slip that he has 40 hours in it, and hasn't seen a woman yet except for a mini-boss called mother of stones. Mother of stones is a mini boss in the early-game, at Chapter 2. Women are immediately visible from early on in Chapter 3. Dude "reviewed" and "gave an 8" that he "totally stands for", on a game that he didn't even play past the second f*cking chapter.

I love how this guy thinks that the media he likes doesn't have political messages 🤡

Or, you think that anything that does not explicitly fly the flag of "your" side must be standing firmly on the "other" side of the controversy.
