correct, we have 1 button that combines all 3 punches which is L1 is all 3 punch, and L2, all 3 kick default. If you do it manually that means you need to press r1+square+x all together.

Do u guys evar try to do a haduken but your stick doesnt register properly, so ryu (for me) starts crouching and punching while some git is kicking my ass!!!!! It is so annoying. BTW i suck ass at this game

Errrr... kara-throws definitely do not belong in a "beginner's" guide. Kara-throws are very hard to execute (as demonstrated by the video, where I don't think Ken succeeded in doing even a single kara-throw) and they are pointless at a beginner's level. You'd might as well walk an extra step forward and do a normal throw: at that level, the extra fraction of a second won't make a difference. But, aside from that part, I thought this video was well-done.

Shoryouken goes almost straight up, Godouken is very short distant, and the kicking move don't hit behind. I'm cool with the last move, but the other two kinda suck in comparison.

Everyone has 1 super and 1 ultra. If the ultra miss, it becomes the Shinryuken. The super is the Shoryureppa.

well every where ive ever played throws were considered cheese, take sf3 for instance if you use a throw for your last hit they give you a slice of cheese. Street Fighter 1 was the first arcade game I played when I was a kid, so you can say ive been around ive been also in quite a few real fights cuz of it. i.e. Guile's invisible throw ; )

I find it sooo funny I have been playing mortal kombat since it hit arcade floors, and I use to play alot of street fighter 1 but soon paid my full attention MK once it was ported to the sega genesis and have'nt played street fighter since so then I decided to buy street fighter iv yesterday (probably because I didn't think there was much difference in fighting) and damn do I suck! No offense to the SF fans i suck but it brings back good memories, I just play more MK than anything else.

You know SF will never go fully 3D like Tekken and those right? I'd hate it if they tried to render realistic 3D models of the characters plus, SF combo system is actually one of the best for nextgen fighting games, if you can't pull off the moves it means you still need to practice more :]
