Like the other event, this one can be turned on at anytime or off. You will be able to get this whenever you desire.

They're permanent. You can also turn the seasonal events off so it doesn't ruin the mood on a first playthrough and then go nuts on NG+ runs. And yes, NG+ is repeatable as many times as you want.

The summer update was limited but thankfully they gave an option where you can reactivate it again in the settings, so I’m sure it will be the same for the Christmas one as well

Love this game in its entirety. I legit have about 450 - 460 hours played (according to my PS5) and just started on my 6th playthrough, BUT... I thought this update would be a bit... more? I love free content and will always take it (especially in an era where they could've easily charged for the updates and outfits), but this update was just underwhelming, in my honest opinion. I have two main reasons for saying this. First, I thought it'd be more than 1 outfit for Eve. 2nd, I was expecting an actual mini-game (maybe if we could finally use the pool table to play, replayable hypertube speedrun challenges, or those arcade machines that say "out of order") not just "shoot these VERY obvious targets down for the cosmetics." It's all good. Again, it's a free update that I still appreciate, I just thought it'd have a lot more to it. I have no sliver of dislike towards this game.
